Title: Night Games?
Post by: Infinite on April 08, 2015, 10:33:14 PM
I've been pretty busy lately and haven't been in the loop for some of the monthly events. However it got me thinking has anybody ever hosted a night game up around the standard AOs near highway 81? If so did it turn out well and do you guys do them often, I'm sure there might be some safety concerns but it seems like a pretty cool thing.

I only goto night games if there is light discipline. In other words, no flashlights.

I have been to night games in the field where tracers or flashlights are required to simulate muzzle flash and it worked great. All players must activate their flashlights or use tracers with visible flash every time they fire their primary (nothing required for sidearms or launchers).

That way guys like me with night vision don't have an unfair advantage - as sneaky as we wanna be we still need to flash our lights when we fire.

Thats not why I spent $ on NVG lol.
BUT,
Tracers are cool

I understand - I didn't drop $1600 on my NODs for no reason either lol. But it just leads to people getting super butthurt if they keep getting zapped by dudes they can't see. Simulated muzzle flash is not only more fair, it's MILSIMMMMMM

Honestly, if you really wanted that, you can get chinese tracer units so cheaply these days there is no reason for everyone to not have one that would be at the event. I mean, under $20.
