If you remember jackrabbit trail fondly... Or Tonopah... or bone stock TM guns and ogling over the fact that someone spent $1000+ to get to 400 fps and a metal body. Yup, airsoft used to be a real money commitment at one point.

That said, that actually isn't accurate, is that when the forums changed over? My old posts that got transferred over are all dated like 1969 or something. Oh well. I didnt have much useful to say back then. Guess not much has changed.

Good day, didnt see almost any non-hit callers. People I encountered had good sportsmanship. Thanks for making it an awesome weekend everyone. Us West Germans all had fun.

This sounds amazing, Where would I find a kit list in case I want to do some research on this?

4 of us going from AZ so far are all signed up as West Germans, you can find the equipment list here:

http://www.operationeastwind.com/wiki/West_German_Bundeswehr

Message me for a list of places to pick up gear for reasonable prices.. also, people on the EW forums are good resources for  gear they have laying around that they'd be willing to part ways with to another EW'er for very reasonable prices usually.

Pics, and a better description that "western arms gbb" will significantly help your trading odds when trying to trade for a $600-1200 rifle.

Mostly pics though.

West Germans, sound off!

Real Firearms / Silenced NFA fun day shoot
« on: October 11, 2014, 08:40:13 PM »
Was at a shoot with some buddies today, silenced pistols/rifles/sbrs/etc only.. was a great day, had a ton of fun.. some brief highlights:

Put like 60 rounds through the barrett m107 in about an hour, was getting so hot was worried it was going to start  machinegunning.

Delinking M2 rounds by hand sucks, btw:

The suspects... and their target..

Buddy thinking he is a badass shooting standing up. This is not an easy task. Not advisable either. Its really a task where you can literally aim at a mountain, and almost miss.

Part of the "collection"...

Another part:

Shooting a buddys NFA Gemtech suppressed G36 (yes I'm a couch commando.):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ausSR8zwhFw

Lessons learned: stupid looking silicone dollar store oven mits are a lifesaver with full auto rifles after a bunch of rounds when changing suppressors or even holding the rifle in the case of the g36.

I'd be interested, as well. Though, it'd be my preference to have the rifles be recoiling guns only. So, TM recoil shocks, KWA recoil aeg, gbbrs(wa, we, etc), gbb pistols, (no ebb pistols) etc.

I manufacture the mosfets that spazz installs (one of the ones he carries at least), if you need one supplied to you I can get you one. Just sold my 600th unit earlier this month.

I don't do installation, however there are good people out there in your area if you don't feel confident with gearbox work and/or basic soldering. I'm in east mesa, but I am in the dobson /southern area every day.

Just so people don't get the wrong idea, there are lots of us signing up for this on facebook btw, so this game will be pretty big already.

Yea, especially with the upcoming demise of Eastwind

huh?

but yeah i would love to make a cc event.

I guess I didn't post it on this forum, but 2015 is the last year of EastWind. So, if anyone has ever been on the fence about going, next year is the last chance. Its the most fun I've ever had airsofting.

Well, if you plan on going to any milsim games(or almost any non-field game really), bdus are more important that a chest rig. You can run around with a few mags in your pockets, but you cannot run around in jeans at mil sim games.

Umarex doesn't make anything, they license other peoples chinese guns. I'd avoid them as a general rule. JG is pretty good as chinese guns go, so are newer CYMA.
