Troubleshooting / TM Sig 552 can't pull charging handle, help.

Hi, I got a marui sig 552. All is good except I can't pull the bolt back to access the hopup. It seems very firm in place. Is there some latch/button you have to pull to open it? I hope it isn't glued shut... Haven't opened the gun either (looks like a nightmare to open a sig) but if all else fails i'll just bring it to a tech on here.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm a n00b at soldering. I'm trying to tin the wires on my battery, but they won't heat up enough and the solder won't melt when I touch the solder to them. Any help?

Accessories & Gear / Fake EO repair

I have an Element replica EO 551. The up/down adjustment knob is jammed up & the sight is pretty much useless now (the reticle is waaaaaay down at the bottom, you can only see it at an angle) I took it apart a bit & figured out the issue (couldn't fix it though) The slider is out of place & the screw won't go in. Looks like an easy fix, not an electrical issue, but I'm not very good with that kind of stuff.
Is there anyone that can fix it on here for me? I spent $80 on it and it was really neat

General Airsoft Discussion / ACA in AZ

So apparently the "ACA" (association of competitive airsoft) is going to start up in AZ, according to their facebook page (namely at vanguard). For those who don't know, ACA is run by those rainbow ops people. They run a "competition" thingy of teams & classes and such.
I personally don't mind too much. I don't however understand the competitive aspect of airsoft, but who knows, it might develop in some unique way. What does everyone else think about this ACA thing?

...and was wondering, what brands are considered "licensed" by H&K? As far as I know, JG and cyma guns are soon-to-be gone from the US market (correct me if I'm wrong). What will we be seeing in the future? Sorry I just don't know much about this.

Gas Powered Guns / MP9 buffer plate

The recoil buffer plate on my kmp9 is loose, which doesn't let the bolt cycle (aka the thing in the back that has the rubber on it)
Is there any good way to hold this thing in place without tightening the screws (meaning you have to remove the entire assembly aka bending plastic, lots of stress D: )? I was thinking locktite or epoxy, but then again if I wanted to remove it that would be an issue.

Troubleshooting / Battery wiring repair

Hi all
I have a battery (Tenergy 8.4v 1600mAh stick) which I had wired to deans awhile ago by a store in PA. One wire disconnected from the deans connector, and the other looks like it came straight out of the battery. I took it to vanguard techs the night it broke and they said they didn't have the right type of solder, so I don't know where else to get this fixed, and I've never touched a soldering iron either. Anyone know of a place to get this repaired/solutions?

This looks like a great community for local airsoft around me! I aleready recognize some people after browsing around. If you go to Vanguard a lot you'll probably know me, Peter, and I do a youtube channel of amateur videos (http://www.youtube.com/user/TensionAirsoft?feature=mhee) also. A question, is there a way to change your username? I thought there would be a display name like on some forums, so put it as my typical login name, but don't want it here...
