is utg even a good brand? i mean, despite the fact that its 100 dollars, couldnt it be better invested in something else?

But regardless of that, I have a buddy looking to get into the game on a low budget...just going to borrow a gun of mine then saw this, he might go for it.

I'll keep anyone updated on the quality if/when I find out anything.

I'd say though...if it lasts...that's a ridiculously good price, even at the $100 non-sale cost.

At 250 fps, an mp5...I'd rather have it then a pistol in CQB.
