A South Korean Air Force F-15K Slam Eagle, tail number 4494, was last reported patrolling a sector of the DMZ region along the southeast border with North Korea. At 2315 hours, a distress call came from 4494 after taking fire from a previously unknown AA battery three miles inside the North Korean border, near the East coast. At 2317 hours, a mayday call was issued from 4494. We have had broken communications with the pilot, designated Raptor One. Raptor One appears to have managed to evade capture and is six miles inside North Korea, but reports are that Raptor Two was KIA during evasion. USAF Pacific Command has not successfully re-established contact with Raptor One in the last 45 minutes. A recovery team from the 353rd SOG based out of Kadena AFB has been airborne and is anticipated to arrive at LZ Echo at 0325 hrs.

Although hostilities between the South Korean and North Korean governments have increased in recent weeks, the North Korean government has claimed that this act of aggression was not from their military. A CIA operative in the region suspects that the CAP was brought down by an insider threat in the North Korean military ranks. There has been evidence on the wire that this group is suspected of acquiring SU27s from a Chinese contact, and has been basing them in an unknown airbase along the eastern coast of North Korea.

Whatever this patrol saw, apparently someone wants to keep unknown.

Also, for this game you cannot use any type of glow stick that is powered by batteries or otherwise.

It has to be a Chemstick.

I can switch to green and possibly one of my guests as well. If your basing color by glowstick and not by uniform I'm sure my guys wouldn't mind switching over to green.

Since this is a night game, camo color won't be much of a factor.  It will during the day game (part 2) though.  This game, teams will be distinguished by glowstick color.

I'll plan on bringing 1 stick of each color than, and depending on how team numbers are looking, we can go from there. JSmith is my friend, I'll have him bring 1 of each color as well.

FYI, for anyone who has not been to this AO it is worth the trip.
It is just out of town and a closer drive than you think. A lot of planning has gone into this game series and it should be a great time. Beat the heat and play a night game, it's a whole different experience.
