I have one almost like that. There is a lot of real estate on there for cool stuff. I like mine and most of my team wears the similar thing no complaint's till summer gets here.

That's the one I use.  Lots of molle.  It gets plenty hot, but I just prefer that type of loadout.

don't get a plate carrier they are a waste of money and some people get pissed because you can't feel it and barley hear it. unless you get one for real life or something.

Nonsense. I've taken many hits to the plate carrier, and can feel and hear the hits just fine. If you "can't feel it" or "can't hear it" then you're probably the type of person that woudn't call your hits if you were shirtless.

I can hear and feel my hits even with fake plates in my plate carrier. If you can't feel the hit you can sure as hell hear the bb hitting you. It has a distinct sound and you can hear it from about 10 feet away.

I run a plate carrier because I can carry everything with me and not have to worry about anything I don't want stolen. In the summer time it gets a bit warm but it doesn't bother me much. If it gets too hot then I switch it out for a chest rig. A plate carrier offers the most molle and you can carry all kinds of things on it. I prefer one just because it's more comfortable for me and it just offers a bit more protection from outside thorns and things from bushes that you'll feel when they poke you in the side. It's definitely a personal preferance and if you get really hot in the summer heat then I suggest you don't get a plate carrier unless it's like the Spec Ops Plate Carrier where you don't have the sides on it. That offers a little bit more mobility and it's lighter and has enough room for mags and hydration on the back. If you really want something light then go with a simple chest rig where all you're going to use for is to carry mags. Overall it's personal preferance. Go with something you think will work for you.

I have a feeling that your response went over his head :p

I have a bunch of different setups I like to use too, and depending on the game I will don whatever is most appropriate. I still have a very lightweight chest rig that I can use if its going to either be hot or if the games are going to short. For those big, legit ops then it would be wise to just man up and get a plate carrier, those games tend to be long and with very little breaks in between where you can go back and get something from the staging area.

So i bought the plate carrier and ran it with my acu winter top(its the only camo i currently have since im from ny) at the stalker event last week. Yes i did get hot but in all honesty with my head in te game i really didnt notice the heat all too much. I did hear the hits i took and felt a few too. I cant wait to be able to afford a camelback and some m249 pouches. Yes i did play all day with my ca 249 and i lived every minuet of it!

I personally prefer the condor modular operator plate carrier.

Just a tad bid smaller but can take a beating and carry a lot. I put two layers of cardboard in the back and sides, three in the front, and every time i get hit by a gun firing on full auto, it sounds like a freaking machine gun.
