Title: Echo 1 Stag-15 M16
Post by: GhostSOCOMM4 on July 21, 2010, 06:14:05 PM
One of my teammates is thinking about getting one of these. Anybody have any experience? Hows the gun overall?

My friend just got one and  loves it! It is the most accurate stock echo 1 I've ever seen and has a rediculous ROF using an 8.4v battery

I own an earlier version of the now "STAG-15". Bought it back in 2007 and it's still not showing signs of giving up. Although the only stock Echo1 parts on it currently are the original motor and gearbox/internals, it's still very much the same rifle on the inside which is what counts. The rifle itself fires straight and true after some fine tuning of the hop-up and iron sights. Hits hard enough, great accuracy and outstanding mobility. Sturdy full butt stock and the short front end of the M4. This rifle is perfect for all game scenarios.

I recommend it completely! Oorah!

I own a stock Echo 1 M4A1 (Stag-15) which I've had for a good few months now and used in a few battles, and it's worked great. Solid build, accurate, good ROF even with the stock 8.4v battery, decent trades, and good FPS. I've been very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend Echo 1 airsoft guns to anyone. :) Only thing I would change is I would've gotten the RIS variant instead of the classic carbine, as you get amazing quality full metal rails and a bit better battery in the PEQ box for only $20 more.

I have the M4A1 as well but have changed it out quite a bit to fit my own personal needs.  It's a good gun to start out with.
