On Gear, Guns, Fixes, Upgrades, BB's, anything pertaining to you playing the sport.
I totaled up everything in my eVike order history and estimated how much in gear i've bought in person from Allied and Such (BDU's assorted gears)
I came out to about... $1,025 +/-
I got a kick thinking that my guitar alone is worth more than that, and my phone was almost half of that when I got it.
What could've that 1k gone too? College fund? Pssshhh...
-
I don't even want to know. If I had to venture a guess it would be easily on the plus side of 4k or 5k.
-
Since I started? $20k-ish. That doesn't include cash inclusions in face to face trades or free stuff I've gotten.
-
1.5 k give or take.
-
At least a couple grand at this point... Far from over though. [smilie=armata_pdt_41.gif]
-
A little over $1000 and still not done.
-
I would venture to say in the area of 5 grand, not including any field fees I've had to pay. Fortunately I have my own field, so I have saved a small fortune on field fees over the years, only having to pay for "away" games.
Regardless of what your bill is, it is SOO worth it !!!
-
Not nearly as much as I have spent on real-steel.
More than the cost of a used car.
-
Good call. I have spent more on airsoft than I spent on my Jeep.....
-
Almost enough to pay a semester of college tuition at the UA.
-
I am at the 1500 mark and still increasing. [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

Sounds like xavi's well on the way to having spent enough to pay for a semester at Riddle.
-
Ive easily spent over 5k. In 2.5yrs.
-
I'd say roughly $900, the only other thing I would have spent that money on is probably more gear for our drum set.
-
I have only been playing for 5 months and spent about $1,500. Doens't include field or BB's and that stuff adds up. There is still so much more that I need. I have no idea where I will end up.
-
Ive spent too much, i could have bought more gear for wrestling. Instead of buying a new gun, i could have got a new singlet, new sissy shoes, and head gear. Darn. But oh well, i like airsoft a bit more. So it works out. :P
-
I've spent a good $6,000 give or take a few bucks. Which is plenty!
-
Probably only 1k.
-
It'll be a shade under $10k for me over 5-6 years.
-
Now making me feel like a cheap-ass with less than 700 or so. Over a space of 5 or 6 years, granted half of those being a jobless teenager in high school, but in the next year i'm probably going to spend about 6-7 hundred in some new gear and a rifle that i've badly needed but couldn't afford.
-
Somewhere around $25,000.
-
$25,000/6 = $4,000 year
couple guns, some gear, some airsoft trips
not really that farfetched - this sport has gotten exponentially cheaper.
I also have a career and low overhead; what's sustainable and possible for me is not so for others.
-
like 700

Definitely has gotten cheaper. I remember when I bought my first CO2 pistol, and it was $70. That same pistol is $30 now!
-
Too much?
Never!
On average:
75.57 per AEG
45.50 Per Gbb pistol
WELL over 5k in this sport and still climbing.
Airsoft forever!

That's nothing. He's talking about prices well before your time.
-
Understandable, I expect my input into the cost of the sport to drop alot now that I have all the gear I need now or wanted.
And also not counting how much i've put into gas to drive about the hell that is AZ for airsofting.
Yea, you say that, but then you see a good deal or you watch a movie with some gun that makes you really want it.

I know, that was only about 5 years ago that I bought that. I'm just trying to put it in perspective for the people who started airsofting within the last year or so.
-
I'd say in 4 years a good $5-6K and all well worth it.
BUT I spent that ammount of money on my 95% screen accurate Darth Maul costume too as well! SOOOO

Epiiiiiic I need to see this!
-
approx. 1.5k, not including gas money or admittance fees. 90% of that went into my sniper weapon system and since I never play any other role, I can't see that total cost reaching past 2k unless I had to rebuild my beloved PDI 96.

I want, no, I NEED to see this.

Hate to know what you got in Real steel Vince!
Heck I spent close to a 1K just going to LCX this year, not bad for 2 people.
Probably double that to do a trip back east for Irene.
I bought my first AEG back when CA came out with their CQBR, and used that was $300.
Not including the $80 crane battery for it.
Everything airsoft related is a lot cheaper now. You couldn't pickup a good metal bodies GBB pistol for under $400, and you had to build it.

I remember when 249s started around $1000, and with how much I used it I spent more on parts/repairs as well as MAG nutsacks.
-
i spent 2 dolla on my speed loader btw... its 200 rounds and it has my nasme on it so back the f up

It started with a 600 dollar sniper...
Traded it but own close to ten guns.
Im guessing 2k to 2.5k
-
rdmaul: that is a sic setup.
im in for over 15k. just guns and gear. not counting bbs, trips, gas, and my tool boxes and cabnets for tools and parts.
cant wait till i get to start buying again. its time to get some of my guns back up to their former performance level. and there are some guns out there that i still need to pick up for my collection.
and for sure stuff is a hell of a lot cheeper nowa days. my $1,200 p90 could be done for probly around $5-600 with the clone parts, but when i bought mine there was only 1 company making them. and first factory was the only company with the nitro rail and box mag setup, thoose 2 pieces cost me more then the gun did. if you found a used ca or tm for 200 its was considered a realy good deal.
i only have 1 gun newer than 2007 and its a ca g3sd. i dont have any echo, jg, dboy, or any of the new acm stuff. thats one of the reasons the my cost is so high. when i was buying alot, acm stuff was concidered dirt and not to be touched. some still concider it so, but im gonna see what i can do with it.
