Title: KWA Sportline?
Post by: Mr Random 42 on March 29, 2012, 03:48:26 PM
According to ASGI, some new KWAs are in for only $190. I'm not terribly sure of the quality, but at the same time I don't expect KWA to lower their name just for some budget models. Let me know of any reviews that start to pop up, I'm pretty curious of what they had to reduce quality wise to make it so cheap, besides the plastic lower.

here's one of the links:

Same internals just plastic externals.

Well, I'll have to look into this more down the road. Besides, I usually buy KWA for the performance rather than the externals anyway. Thanks for the info.

You get a metal upper reciever with a plastic lower, that's not too bad. Really for the internals and a metal upper, barrel, and sights. That's well worth the price to throw all of that on a new gun.

well a complete kwa gearbox costs 175 on their proshop. for the gun and everything else this is really a steal. im going to pick one up and just convert it to field.

I know money is a concern mostly for KWA, but I would rather just save double to get the full metal... and the one I want and not settle for the CQB one... if that is the only type of M4 they have out for the sportline...

On the other hand, for people just trying to get into the sport or needing a cheap gun, or a project gun, it's a great gun to start for sure. As people said, the internals is what counts for this product, externals not so much. (still polymer though)

if they came out with one with a quad rail that was polly I would buy it just to turn it into a plastic monster. Airsoft is a game why wouldnt you want the light weight if it didnt effect anything?

Im actually really stoked for this thing to be released dude. I even already pre-ordered one from asgi.
it has the KWA 2gx gearbox
kwa 2gx hopup
full metal upper reciver?!
i mean, this thing is going to be amazing. one thing i really love from the 2gx gearbox is the trigger response. gold plated trigger contacts!
All anyone needs is a full metal lower reciever and they're set.
but this is going to be my project gun and i cant wait til it comes in ;D

Would you be able to literally take the gearbox out of this and slap it into any M16/M4 AEG?
