Cool air conditioned mayhem..
Tempe Paintball off McClintock, just south of Apache has a fun airsoft facility.
Saturdays, they run from noon to 8pm, and right now, admission is 12 bucks. You need to buy their .BB's, but the quality is good and prices are reasonable.
I'll be there at noon. Post up and join me this Saturday for some plastic slingin'.

What are the FPS limits?

330fps limit. I think ill be down with maybe +1

360fps is the MAX though I was told by pepe (owner) yesterday!

The good thing about Tempe Paintball's Owner/staff is that they listen to us. I think they'll adopt a reasonable FPS and maybe have that 330 crap only for the kids. Right now don't fret about having a 360fps gun there.
Oh... And bring Thunder B's! We really rocked their world last saturday with 'em, DAMN LOUD.

although 360fps was alowed it isnt realy needed.
im not saying dont run 360 but my shotty only shot 250 and is a pump action and i got plenty of kills with it.
and even at over half the field distance between me and my target they still didnt get out of the way fast enough.
but its good not haveing to change a gun to much between field and play there.

But it would be good to have a hard kicking gun to shoot those who don't call hit... XD

I'm hoping the Tempe Paintball guys will open a account on here soon.
In the meantime, FPS limits are still not set in stone there. Just be reasonable and don't bring hot, modified stuff and we should be fine. The games last Saturday were all played semi-auto, too.
BTW, the .BB's they sell are .20 Elite Force by Umarex/USA made in Taiwan.

So I've been reading alot of post and checking what you all think and we are happy that the response is positive and like most have said we are open to suggestions.
Spazz, Paradox, Nofatchicks, and those that I have asked a million questions thank you for the advice.
I can't forget the lights out guys really chill and laid back and have some crazy gun sliding skills.
Admission is 12.00 til we finish the build then it will be 24.00 plus tax for all day admission
BB's are house bb's elite force .20's will be looking at a mid grade 1000 for 5.00 or 2700 for 10.00
Those that run the Polar star system we have all day air for 4.50
Green gas and retail we do not have in stock yet as we finish the build we will have a few items in stock nothing crazy though.
Hours of play
Friday: 5 - 11:00 pm if the response is large enough to run til midnight I will stay and run games til midnight
Sat: 12 - 8:00 pm
Sunday: 2:00 - 8:00 Pm

As long as my gun gets here before saturday I'll probably be joining yall +1. I have a couple of questions though, is sealed eye protection required ie goggles etc or are the oakleys i always wore ok. are .25's ok or will i need to buy their .20's.

Well to each their own with the face mask, I wear a balaclava and Oakleys when I play unless something else is required... just trying to figure out what all I'll need.

I'm on the same boat as Millertime, I like wearing just my oaks for CQC games but what are the rules for this place regrading masks?

This place is a lot more intense than Vanguard. Rounds flew everywhere and pretty much everyone took headshots. That said, Spazz wore nothing but his tight-fitting shooting glasses last saturday.

Oh i know about headshots, took a full auto across the face from 2 feet away at twin tanks years back... not not saying full face protection isn't the best cause it is... I just perform better with other equipment. I'll be wearing my Kevlar, balaclava, and Oakleys if that's permitted. If not looks like i'll be picking up a paintball mask.. ugh!

I hope balaclavas are allowed, because I've taken to running with a mouthguard and a thin balaclava recently as far as face protection goes, because any kind of mask messes with my glasses, and I was hoping to show up there this weekend and try out my new baby.

You should be fine with your oakleys. I wore my Strike 2.0 M Frames in there last weekend.

Full face is asked but Pepe has been open all he asks is your ears and eyes and mouth are covered, eyes we would like sealed but if you have glasses Of some sort talk to Pepe he will approve them or won't.
We are working on more of the field today so pictures to follow at dinner time

No though do not open carry your replica's to the store. Cover them in a bag or cloth.

yeah I just went with goggles and a sniper wrap for face pro and it was allowed

I just talked to Pepe about the eye protection and he wants sealed eye protection and however you can cover your mouth and ears weather it's the mesh mask or the face wraps is what he asks.
NO shooting glasses or M frames sealed face mask anyone under the age of 18 full face mask no exceptions

Check the for sale section, there's ALWAYS at least one pair for sale somewhere.

Try Big 5, I've seen some as cheap as ten bucks there. Make sure they're rated for impact and polycarbonate.

Millertime we have rentals we can loan you for free also we have a anti fog goggle made by G.I. Sports that we sell for 40.00 it's black with a clear lens.
My honest opinion is anyone that is coming to play I would suggest a goggle or mask that has a anti fog or thermal lens I have never been a fan of single pan lenses that don't have a anti fog. Boyscoutt motto " always be prepared " even if your over prepared.
If you want I also have a extra mask that I loan out to friends it's nothing special but will get you through the day.

Thanks Jason, I'm sure i can scrounge something up. If all else fails i'll buy a pair of those goggles from you guys. I'll second the anti fog lenses, nothing worse than your mask fogging up and taking rounds with no clue where it's coming from.

Some good games Were had on Saturday. My wrist seemed to be a prime target as it has about 5 bloody welts in about 3 CM circle. lol
