Title: good radio for airsoft ??

hello all i was looking into getting a radio for the Outdoor airsoft season And i was wondering what too get. i was looking at a Midland 75-785 75785 40 Channel 4W 4 Watt Mobile Handheld CB Radio http://www.ebay.com/itm/Midland-75-785-75785-40-Channel-4W-4-Watt-Mobile-Handheld-CB-Radio-/140820926717?pt=US_CB_Radios&hash=item20c994d0fd (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Midland-75-785-75785-40-Channel-4W-4-Watt-Mobile-Handheld-CB-Radio-/140820926717?pt=US_CB_Radios&hash=item20c994d0fd)  at  fry's electronics.  for 33.99 was wondering if this was a ok radio too start with

No. you don't want a CB radio. Get something that operates on FRS frequencies. A radio that is listed as "FRS/GMRS" radio will work perfect for you.

I have a few recommendations depending on how much you would like to spend. But Dayton was right you should probably stick to FRS freqs. I recommend for under $50 you get Motorola talkabout radios. or if you want to roll with the big dogs you get an ICOM F4S. either way you'll probably be happy.

ICOM F4S or Radio Shack 21-1860.
