Title: VFC 416 problem! Help!
Post by: TheGuardianAirsoft on August 08, 2013, 11:26:45 AM
I took my VFC 416 to Vanguard to get my spring changed to a m120. I got it back yesterday and test fired it for the first time today and it shot the first three times and it was alittle bit slow and then just stopped firing. It just has this clicking sound like it wants to fire but it just wont. Can you please give me a solution to this problem because I am going to the Evike airsoft camp tomorrow! Please Help! Thanks

Sounds like your battery is dead.

Possibly you might need a stronger motor sounds like its locked up and cant make that final push to pull that m120.

Charge battery or get a new one. That problem you described is indicative of a dead battery.

Or a weak/broken motor connector. He did mention he took it to Vanguard...

my vote is also for dead/bad battery. i dont think it is the motor connector, i bet the clicking he is hearing is the motor rotating in the grip the fraction it is allowed to move. wont happen 9 out of 10 times if there is a broke connector. and he said it slowed down.

The battery was not dead, I hooked it up to another m4 I had and was working fine. There was a screw missing from the bottom of the pistol grip and the motor height wasn't right. I now need to go to command post and get new wiring because the metal part that connects to the motor was snapped in half, so I can't connect the wire to the motor. I also need a new pistol grip because of the screws missing. So the problem is solved basically, thank you for all of your help! I really appreciate it. Thanks!
