EDIT: Couldnt you just tie 4 feet of paracord to the end of the magazine (if you have magpuls) so when you drop them, they get out of your way, but still are with you.

To many cords would mean stuff would snag and you would be stuck in the bush. Trust me it just would not work out. You can go ahead and try it at a game for yourself if you want.. its just not for me for those reasons.

And the CA Mags are metal.......and putting a weight would work but he should just solve the problem and fix his mag release button.

For 40 bux, you can't go wrong! I like the idea of being able to ditch them, and not worry about losing 20 bucks!

I do the same, John. Not for every change-out, but at least half the time. While the metal is scratched to heck, the mags function just fine. I keep them clean and lubed, and I've never had a misfire/malfunction as far back as I can remember.

I take them completely down periodically for inspection as well (when I clean them).

Post by: Firehead on May 07, 2004, 07:56:33 PM: yeah, that is my main concern with those mags. sorry about my shipping exageration, for some reason i thought boomarms was in hong kong( i think so) and there is another company( www.airsoft-war4.com (http://www.airsoft-war4.com)) that allows you to buy them by the box(10 per box) but shipping is an arm and a leg( 34 for one box). so i got them mixed up. yeah, its definitely worth it, i know i'm gunna buy 20 of them at least.
