*points to subject* So... I currently use a KWC CO2 Desert Eagle and a KJW MK1 Carbine (the sniper version). These are my first gas guns, so I'm completely clueless about what sort of maintenance I should be doing on these...  Could anyone help me out a little?

Ok, you basically want to keep a little bit of gas in the mag to put a small amount of pressure on the o-ring to keep a good seal. In addition, lube the slide, and pretty much all the moving parts. However, remember, a little bit goes a long way.

That's sorta the problem, I don't know what to put and where exactly to put it. Does anyone have some sort of reference or something?  I don't want to just start spraying stuff everywhere, and hope it works. ;)

I am not really familiar with the mk1, but the Desert Eagle can be taken down, correct? Basically, you want to apply a little bit of silicon oil to the grooves where the slide rests so it moves back and forth easily. You should do the little bit of gas in the mag thing with all gas guns anyway.

I would personally never use STTI silicon on any of my guns anywhere...Its like wter and you will need to lube it way too often, also the thinner the more dirt and shit that gets trapped in it. Use 10k weight or more silicon on your pistol. ONce in a while lube the fill valves and the oring on the seal between the mag body and floor.

STTI lube works just as well as any other. I have never had a problem with it, and I haven't noticed any additional dirt buildup.

The Mk1 isn't too hard to clean out, but when I had mine, all you needed to do was spray lube up in the trigger, rub a cloth around the inside of the magwell to pick up any dirt and grit, and then spray some lube up there.  That always worked on mine.
