So I finally got around to putting a Madbull 650mm tightbore barrel in my Dragunov. Before the barrel change, I was having a problem with a lack of precision- every few bbs one or a couple would shoot off to the side, and pretty far off. I thought it was a problem with the bucking or something, so I figured I'd fix it along with the barrel upgrade.
When I took apart the hop-up system everything was perfectly clean and the bucking was perfect - I have only used this gun on one or two outings so that makes sense.
I put everything back together and there's still a precision problem! I changed from the .2's I was shooting to .25's and it improved a little bit, but it shoots SO MUCH less precisely than my JG Sig552 which has less FPS and a not-tight-bore barrel of about half that length.
This gun is supposed to be a support/sniping weapon, not a cqb gun!!!
Is there anything else that could cause a lack of precision besides barrel/hop up system? Any ideas..?
The gun's half put-together so I want to solve any issues before I finish.
Thanks,
Keith
