I have been searching around and I have been researching so I would like to start off by telling you that I tried but I just cant find an answer.

Ok, so, I would like to upgrade my UTG AK-47 Commando (version 3 mechbox) with a M100 spring.  I have been getting different answers such as: Its fine go for it, you need to rewire it, if you do that you will need a new piston head, spring guide ect.

So my most basic conclusion and questions I have come up with is:
1) Can my gun handle a M100 spring without any other upgrades.
2) If it cannot, I know rewiring will solve it.  So can someone please post tutorials on how to rewire it?  My dad can do all the hard work, because hes extremely experienced, i just need instructions like what guage wire to use, where to route it, what connectors ect.

Hey, well i basically came here so i could get more into airsoft.

Currently i have 2 crappy crossman spring pistols i recieved as a gift at a party. I just use my dads gas pistol though.. I just usually play with my friends.  I'm either the sniper or the one who rushes on break. Thats basically it.  I am somewhat skilled having hunted before.
