Eagle Industries Molle 3 day Pack- the colour in the pic looks ugly, my camera screws with the lighting inside at night and makes it look ugly. One expensive 3 day assault pack
And the rifle...real or not ?

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: Im making an airsoft team...

Maybe by christmas or a bit after I'll attempt to join. Working on my load out, I have an eclipse RBAV in Ranger green, Eagle Industries Molle backpack with hydration in Ranger green, the carrier is completely finished excluding soft/hard armor, I have 2 pairs of desert Digital  BDUs (real stuff and still going to order more BDUs), I have some nomex gloves somewhere, ranger green eagle drop leg pouch but I may sell it. I'm working to buy a MICH helmet (real), the NV mount and a  Liberator II Tactical Headset and a radio. Hopefully by March/april area I'll have bought an autogated PVS-14 from Victor on ar15.com.  I sold all my airsoft stuff last year to fund my current ar15 build which is close to being done (missing sopmod, surefire m951) after that (hopefully by christmas) I'll order another airsoft gun and custom it to my real one. Only REAL authentic gear for me   If Ranger green doesn't work for you for my plate carrier, I'll see how funds are going around christmas and get a TAG Spartan II in CB or something. Basically my AS gun will look like the pic in my signature.

In the link pictured it uses the Sordin supreme electronic ear pro which is comparable to the comtac II. I have worn earpro (sordin) in airsoft games, and it isnt worth it and is unnessisary, but for shooting I love my electromuffs. If you call or email TCI they will make you a lead that will fit whatever you are using, I hope you have a better reason than airsoft though. I would get a cavalvy and an Icom F4s and spend the reminder on a nice set of electromuffs. They are better and cheaper systems on their own separately than trying to get an "all in one" thing.

This isn't just for airsoft, its more for real shooting with my ar. And for camping up in flag, shooting and stuff with a few friends.  Plus, I want real gear, everything but my airsoft gun will be real and not clone made stuff. I'm also debating on my vest right now, either a eagle ciras in RG or an Eclipse RBAV in RG. The RBAV is close to half the price and looks close to the same.  What was that website you guys get your Icom F4S radios off? I forget it.

Thanks alot, now i got 235534 more questions lol.  Thanks the link bro. Now I'm confused on what i want and what to get lol

which setup would you recommend that would work with a  ICOM F4S radio? For one of the options, Would I pick "other radio model"?

http://www.merchantmanager.com/tactical ... ?pageno=59

See, if this was strictly for airsoft I'd get a more compact headset but this is for real shooting also, I need ear protection lol.

Without having it in front of me I can't be 100% sure, but according to the description, and from what I know of Peltor, that should have a 6 pin military connector for a MBITR.

eBay will be much less expensive for the same item.  Furthermore, if you get that particular set, you'll either be paying for a lower cordset that you don't want or will have to get modified to work with whichever radio you want to use.

Here is what I would do, and probably will do soon -

Get an ICOM F4S radio.
Get a Peltor COMTAC 2/Liberator setup that terminates in a U-93 or U-174 plug.
Get a lower cordset that has a U-94 PTT on one end and an ICOM two prong connector on the other.

There is another alternative as well -

Get an ICOM F4S radio.
Get a Peltor COMTAC or COMTAC II
Get a Cavalvy Elite II Headset (http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/a ... odID=24697)
COMTAC sits over Cavalvy headset.  It works pretty well, actually.

The 2nd option may or may not be cheaper, depending on where you get certain items.  It also might not fit with a particular look you have in mind or something.

Options, anyways.

I thought about the second option but i want real equipment, I won't just be using this for airsoft but with a few friends shooting way up in flag, some places in michigan and if the road trip goes as planned, montana, camping and stuff. I found basically the same peltor setup on ebay for half the price lol but its a comtact I. Got any links to this lower cordset or Peltor COMTAC 2/Liberator setup that terminates in a U-93 or U-174 plug?

General Airsoft Discussion / What radio will this Peltor setup work with?
« on: October 05, 2008, 12:44:05 AM »
Well, I'm considering spending alot on this, but I don't want to spend the cash on  MBITR or have to go through bullshit trying to find one. So, whats a decent radio that will work with this com set up? If any.

Lol, yah its alot but I refuse for any of my gear/loadout to be clone/replica crap. My carrier and Mich setup alone is killing me
One peice at a time

Head west on southern to mcClintock and talk to the guys at the gearbox. The store is marked Jungletoy and is on the south east corner behind what used to be a tacobell. They can fill you in on the inns and outs of gameplay here in AZ.

Ill do that, thanks for the where-to-go man.

I like the high tech mouse pad under the Razer mouse!

Welcome.  Games are posted on the forums here when they come up.  There are a couple groups that host them.  If you haven't check out the Tucson Airsoft Coalition as well.  They have games almost every weekend if you don't mind getting up early for the drive.  Depending on where in Mesa its about an hour.

Real Firearms / Re: AR system OTHER than LWRC

I have a stag arms upper/RRA lower (can see pic in introduce yourself threads look for my name), and I have nothing bad to say about any of thsoe companies. But, if you want absolute best quality Colt is your number one way to go, a colt 6920. Otherwise I would go with an LMT defender lower with SOPMOD and a 16" LMT upper with BCG/charging handle. Buy the upper and lower separate, its cheaper, much cheaper.  Inless your lower was approved via form1 get LMTs 10.5 upper, what i plan to do on my next build. You could always go the Noveske route, though they are more expensive then colt, or Sabre, or even CMMG. Top picks would be colt and LMT

Hi, My names Jesse. I just moved to Mesa, AZ from Mighigan on my own and currently am attending MCC for a criminal justice degree. I'm 18. I quit airsoft to buy real firearms for awhile, as I'm just about finished my first AR-15 build i think I'm going to buy another CA and attempt to get back into it. Was going to send out a form1 to get my ar SBRed to 10.3 inch barrel but i decided I'll just do that on my next build, and instead, for now, use the money to buy another CA. I've owned 3 before. Heres a few pics of my real ar, but its an older pic, i just ordered a sopmod stock and surefire m951 for it, hope to build my CA to be a replica of it, execpt with a short barrel, like an mk18 mod.

Can't wait to get back into the sport. Ganna take awhile to buiold my load out as i refuse to buy replica gear lol. There any games in the mesa area? I know NO one here in AZ.
