Once again... why would you spend money on a CA, even if you had it? They're not good guns.

i did debate saving up for the CA, but its just not worth the money to me

Well said stealthmaster14.

I do have to say that enhanced Jgs and Echo1 are good base guns. They come stock shooting 400fps (After a few hundred rounds through it) and are build for it. The fact of the matter is that the higher end guns have, supposedly, better quality control. When you start upgrading guns quality control goes right out the window. To be perfectly honest I would buy and echo1 over a classic army any day, throw in a TBB and be completely happy. I haven't had first hand experience with tokyo marui or KWA because i don't have the money for them so i cant say weather or not i like them. I am a big fan of echo1 though.

i definitely agree with this, JG's are a great starting platform if you have a tight budget... although i do hear alot of negativity about upgrading internals on those weapons, i have not had any issues so far. as long as you are somewhat smart about what you upgrade, you shouldn't have any trouble...

but it looks like you are looking for something to just play with, not something to tear apart and upgrade.. either way - go JG or echo1, both would fit you very well.

and yeah - my JG G3 definitely pops 400 out of the box, i did debate saving up for the CA, but its just not worth the money to me, i could take the money i would have spent on the CA and throw a TBB and some other mods/attachments onto the JG.. thats all i have to say about that 8)

I respectfully disagree. I think you traded a perfectly repairable gun for a non repairable gun that WILL strip gears because they are plastic and your running 9 volts though it.

Do NOT buy this gun. Not even if its on sale for 0.50$. I would rather put my two quarters in a candy machine and have a delicious treat.

edit; i just deleted everything i wrote, this gun is a piece of shit

if you somehow get one for free, or whatever..

sell it

i traded some kid one of my old half broken guns for an r76, its not as bad as everyones making it sound..

but then again, i didnt spend 100$ on it, if i did i would have been very disappointed.

uh.. and the stock 8volt is terrible, if you ever do use that gun, you need a 9 volt to make it worth your time

as previously stated, definitively not worth the money compared to what else is on the market..

for the magnification; 3. i am aware that it wont be "perfect" persay, but i cant even get the bb up the lines... (forgot what those are called, mil-something..?)

i know that scopes on airsoft rifles in general are very very far from being accurate, i have been using this same scope on a different rifle with acceptable results, and its definitely not the rail (well, the rail contributes to the vertical distance..). i think the problem is that the scope just sits too high, there is too much vertical distance away from the actual barrel and the scope itself...

im tempted to try a lower magnification optic, and see if that works... the red dots i have tried do work, which is whats making me think its simply too high powered for the way its mounted

That may be true, but I have used this particular scope on 2 other rifles before and it works great..

I'm probably going to have to try a lower magnification, I still don't think its going to happen though just because of the distance between the actual muzzle and the scope :/

has anyone successfully done this, and would you care to share what your solution is? i dont care if you know a guy that has a scope on his g3, im talking about personally using one

im trying a 3-9x40 with lifted rings, i tried with flush rings but i still cant zero it in. too much height from the barrel to the actual crosshairs...

im thinking i might need a lower power scope...? :|

most airsofters are clicky, if you werent part of their group you knew nothing. so i said "f**k it, i'll start hosting for people who just want to get out there and play immediately, for everyone that works 40 hrs a week and doesnt have the time for milsim all day events."

+1

everyone could sit here all day, and pick everything apart. but i think it all comes down to common sense. shit happens, it was a good game. when you have 80 people playing, shits going to happen. thats really all there is to it
