Gas Powered Guns /

The garand seems like a nice rifle, but what concerns me is, it would almost appear as if the gas was actually held within the gun, and not the clip.... If you look up the clip by itself on redwolf, there appears to be no room for gas in the mag.

Heheh, exactly!  I let a friend use it for the game on the 29th, never intended the gun to actually be used, but he put some decent use to it, lol.

In the heat of the action he got  the " Watch out! Tan 6 o'clock!! ..... What the hell is that??"

Now, when you say co2, are you talking about the bottled kind paintballers use?

That'd be fun, but without pyrotechnics, powering it and keeping it within realism seems  a little more difficult.... but hey, worth a try.

Not too worried about using the NV with the mesh, but I forgot those existed...  Not my favorite, but it's an option I suppose.

Accessories & Gear / Goggle Reflection
« on: July 27, 2006, 11:48:05 PM »
Is there a practical way to reduce the amount of
reflection on your goggles? Normally it wouldn't be much
of an issue during a day game, but a friend and I were
making sure the NV scope still worked, and his glasses light up
like cat eyes in the dark.  So, is there a mesh or something
that wouldn't be too hindering for glasses/goggles?
Thanks!

I might be able to get two of those high caps for you, A friend of mine can't make it, so I'll have his extra lying around at my house.

Oh but that takes away that good feeling you get after you stand in the open,
pumping your gun for a good 30 seconds, shoving some bb's down the barrel,
pulling the trigger to watch your volley miss!
