Thanks guys! Exactly what I needed to know. Anyone have a specific (and evidence-backed) opinion about KJW's GBBs? Just trying to do all the research I possibly can :P

I purchased a KJW 1911 para GBB around 2007, I used it for about 1 and 1/2 years before it started having a problem cycling and just haven't taken to get some parts replaced/cleaning done.  One thing i did notice was that while out playing during the winter that if I tried to fire several shots at once it would lock and spit gas (only happened twice i believe) After i got the gun to warm up a bit it worked just fine.  However during the summer I did know someone who left a container off green gas in the sun and we all got a nice shock when it exploded (thankfully no one was hurt) so keep it in the shade during summer and warm in the winter and i'm sure it will do u proud.  I rolled down a canyon with this thing strapped to my leg, and was able to fire it not long after i picked myself up and ran to the nearest cover without a problem.

I was looking at these myself and if WE has done a good job putting it together I might look into purchasing one myself.  Hope someone has already taken the leap and can inform the rest of us about it.

I believe it is a great idea as a grand idea. I think some more thought should be put into as far as what you are looking for out of the field. Do you want it to be a close quarters field with lots of rooms and confusing structures? Do you want to build a field that can be used for large organized operations with 50+ people? Do you want the field able to showcase airsoft to visitors or parents?

Gonna have to go with this guy on this one, it all depends on the type of field your wanting to have to attract customers to play on.  I haven't personally gotten a chance and to come see Fightertown yet as I have just recently begun picking airsoft back up again after a year or so.  See what ya got and add something to make it have a little more variety.  Just don't make it so well that everyone forgets the good points of the other fields.  If you do make just a airsoft only field on the same premises however i'm sure you'll run into paintballers wanting to play on it as well.

ordered several times from them and they have always been friendly and prompt with myself as a customer.  Had an order came in and was missing 3 magazines.  Emailed them and they noticed the error and sent it out as first class and got them the next day.  Would definitely recommend them.

Spring Power!! / Upgrading TM VSR-10 G-Spec
« on: June 25, 2010, 01:27:10 AM »
I currently came into possession of this rifle and am looking forward to upgrading it to the fullest potential.  At the moment I have on my list of parts to purchase include the following

1x B↑Premier Palsonite Cylinder SET VC
-B↑Premier Palsonite Cylinder
-B↑Taper Cylinder Head
-B↑VC Piston
-B↑Spring Guide for VC Piston
http://www.x-fire.org/vsr_bup/e.bup_cylinder_vc_pal.html

1x Bore Up trigger set
http://www.x-fire.org/vsr_bup/e.bup_triggerset.html

1x 6.01mm PDI tight bore barrel
http://www.x-fire.org/etop/01.html

1x Firefly Hop Up Bucking for VSR-10 (Hard)
http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/Firefly_Hop_Up_Bucking_for_VSR_10_Hard_also_fit_p/63320.htm

From my understanding I need a different spring than the normal upgraded spring that would go with a VSR-10.  I didn't have much luck unfortunately in finding anything on my own the last few days of looking through evike.com/airsoftgi.com/and trinityairsoft.com

I also did not find a bolt handle (saw a post on another site that it snapped while the shooter was cocking the gun but there were other reasons other than the resistance of the spring that caused it).  I'm wanting this rifle to shoot decently far and be around 515fps with a .25g, but from what I understand I could have a higher spring with more hop up on the pellets to get better accuracy/range and keep it in that fps if few posts regarding the matter that I've read on here are correct.

I'm looking for any suggestions and would very much like the assistance on locating parts if it is not to much trouble.

Thanks again,
Hawkeye

Edit: found an aftermarket Hop Up finally
