-EDITED-

i dont know what the hell CA was thinking when they made these but they are a nightmare to take apart... if anyone has taken one apart before please let me know how, the only thing standing between me and the gearbox is the bolt catch lever inside the gun.. i got the mag release screwed off but now when i try to pull the gearbox out thee is a long piece of metal on the bolt catch that gets in the way
please help

maybe a stupid question but how do you take out the mag release on the new classic army guns (there is no screw, only a push pin)? i have been trying to figue out how to take it apart so i could get to the gearbox and can not figure it out for the life of me... i looked all over the web and found no tuts on how to do this
-thanks-

how old do you have to be to go?

well if you read the OP it says 14 and up as long as you have a waiver signed.

Not to be an ass but AEG stands for AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC GUN so there will be no gas blow back, also this is a very bland post... some things would help
your price range
what type of gun you want (m4,mp5,etc)
and thats just for starters, also seeing as you are just starting i would go for an aeg not gbb (GASS BLOW BACK) because that requires the use of gas and tends to be on the more expensive side and less user friendly.
as far as teams i have no idea but your getting ahead of yourself, find a gun then go from there.

i have not had any experience with cyma, jg or any other clone guns. i would go to gearbox airsoft and check out what they have so you can get a feel for different types of guns then make your decision there (they have echo 1 and Classic army sportlight guns) i have heard good things about both brands plus they are around your price range (approx 165$)

Il be there,

I don't understand why biodegradable BBs are required.

This paintball park, like just about every other one, will be out of business before the BBs are biodegraded.

That being said, that's how it is - so stop questioning it and dragging this thread off topic.

Wow... Harsh, and some what uncalled for

Awesome input thanks! Gearbox has the madbull barrels and I have a systema bucking waiting for it :) Whats an SCS tho?

No prob, glad I can help.

http://shredderscs.proboards.com/index. ... &thread=33

It's like an H nub, but works much much better. Sometimes it takes some modifications (simple mods to the hop up which are good to do anyway) to get it to work well.  Once it does, there's no going back. ;)

If you have any issues installing it, PM me.  If I can't help you, I'll direct you to Shredder.  (I don't work for him, he's just swamped with emails and stuff so yeah)

You can order them from him, evike, or Edgi.

sorry dont mean to thread jack but what kinds of mods would you need to do to the hop up?

I have a CA m15a4 X series and it is an amazing gun. I have only had it for about 2 weeks now but out of the 4 or 5 thousand shots i have fired there has been no problems. the only complaint i have is the whole working bolt catch thing is cool and all but just a luxury, also the dust cover has a little prong that clips onto the body of the gun and it has already started to wear (probably going to no lock on after much more use) it would of been nice to have magnets. but other than that no complaints.. internals seem rock solid

almost forgot, the hop up on mine might be crapping out because every once and a while a bb goes way off from the others. could just be my gun but idk
