Local Games Listing/RSVP / Re: Air-Op X MS19: Seek and Destroy
« on: November 17, 2012, 01:49:45 PM »
I have not been on in a while (been busy custom building airsoft guns!) I am glad to see so many people are commenting. Thanks Lady Wolf for adding in the info about the meeting time as well as why I am unable to host events on Saturdays.
I would like to make sure that everyone is aware of the rules and don't forget about he Waivers and Field Rules that must be signed and on file for players to play. Check out the info at: http://tacticalairsoftguns.com/shawefiru.html
I hope everyone has a great weekend and I send my best wishes to you and yours!

Hi and thanks for asking!

My "Airsoft Operation X" scenarios are specifically designed so that players and/or squads are taken out into the field to their starting point and briefed on their mission, this way other players and/or squads do not know what each other is doing.
After doing monthly events for almost three years I found this really adds to the fun. However the info I can let you know is that there will be a very few select players who will be the "Hunted" and many players who will be the "Hunters". Each having their own specific mission, sorry I can't give any more info or it will ruin it for all my regular attendees who love my "Airsoft Operation X" scenarios.

At my events it is very normal to play anywhere from 3 to 5 different war scenarios (depending upon time).

I am probably going to do Airsoft Operation X Mission Scenario 10: "The Killing Fields H.O.G. Version" as the second game.

The Wed before event day I will be in the field setting up re-spawn zones and other necessary stuff for the scenarios.

Airsoft Operation X: Mission Scenario Nineteen: “Seek and Destroy”

Event Cost: FREE

Scheduled for: November 25th, 2012

Meeting Time: 9AM

Meeting Location: Safeway parking lot located in Chino Valley, AZ

Mission Scenario Rules:

1.) Shock & Awe Field Rules Apply to ALL Players.

Specific Mission Briefings for all players will take place in the field.

Additional Information:

If I do not have an up to date airsoft waiver and airsoft field rules on file for the player then that player will NOT be allowed to play.

I will have airsoft waivers and airsoft field rules available at the event to be signed.

For ALL players under the age of 18, be sure to bring your parents to sign the waiver and field rules, OR stop by the airsoft store in Prescott Valley, AZ to get the paperwork ahead of time.

If you are NOT a “Shock & Awe” team member I would recommend bringing tables and chairs because there is nowhere for you to get your gear ready other then in your vehicle OR in the dirt on the ground.

Tables and etc. provided by the event planner are ONLY for “Shock & Awe” team members to use.

Please come PREPARED for this event.

Playing location is "Leviathan Swamp"

Here are some pictures of the location

Hello Friend, I have been custom building airsoft guns and gearboxes for just short of three years now and I would love to help you. Only problem is My airsoft store and I are all the way up here in Prescott :) However it does sound as though there are a few people closer to you who obviously know what they are talking about and that they would be happy to help you out. I hope everything works out good for you :)

As the owner of an airsoft business and an airsoft team that is FAMILY / KID FRIENDLY for all ages I very firmly believe in the safe and responsible use of airsoft guns. I also firmly believe in the airsoft “honor code”.

Our 10 year old team member has played with more honor and maturity then 90% of the 16 year olds that have played with us over the last two years.

When I originally said we have no FPS limits I expected everyone to be prepared to play with honor and maturity, simply meaning you are not going to turn your gun as high as it can shoot BECAUSE you can respect the safety of another player, regardless of their age.

If you are NOT mature enough to know that you DON’T need to make your gun as fast as possible then don’t bother attending my events. FPS limits have been set. We are all (even our 10 year old) very mature players who want to have a good time withOUT anyone’s ego OR attitude getting in the way.

I am not trying to be or sound rude; however I think it is rather obvious for me to put my foot down and verify that everyone understands we are only interested in playing with other players who can be mature about the game, regardless of their actual age.
In conclusion we are a small group of 10 to 30 players who want to have a fun time. So if you have maturity issues, ego issues, attitude issues, or you just want to flat out be a jerk, don’t bother coming to play with us.

Thank you for your understanding.

Updated Field Rules with FPS limits can be seen at:

So I have been hosting monthly airsoft games for almost three years now and I am still learning lots about events. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and opinions. I will continue to discuss the limits with my team members who I have not yet talked to so that I can get them up here ASAP.
I hope you all have a great day and I send my best wishes to you and yours.

Thanks KillerDrgn, I like to know what other peoples opinions are. Do you feel that 450 FPS with .2's is a good limit for AEG's? and how about 550 FPS with .2's as a limit for sniper rifles?
I also have call out distances. Any airsoft gun running from 300 to 400 FPS will have a 20 foot "BANG" call out distance. Any guns running over 400 FPS will have a 25 foot "BANG" call out distance.
If anyone has any other thoughts or ideas please feel free to post.
And Thanks :)

My apologies guys, I did not realize you had guns shooting so fast. My team is a family friendly team with players as young as 10 years old. I will have to come up with FPS limits after discussing them with my team and I will get them posted up here ASAP.
Thanks for understanding.

Hi Everybody, thanks for responding!
Because we like to play outdoors we have no FPS restrictions and we also have no restrictions on mag capacity, feel free to bring your hi-caps :)
$5 is the cost of the event regardless if you want water or not. In order to do these airsoft events I do have to close my business (I keep my airsoft store open 6 days a week) and I feel that $5 is not too much to ask.
If you need a airsoft waiver and field rules emailed to you then please send a email to Adam@TacticalAirsoftGuns.com requesting the info and I will reply with the attachments.
Hope to see you all there!!!

Danny Barrera told me in a email that hi-caps will be allowed. Hopefully this will help make the turn out better.

After speaking with Danny Barrera's via email I am to understand that players are allowed to use hi-cap mags!
