What I've found that works well is clusters of buildings somewhat spread around, for a good mix of CQB and field play.

This is a bad idea on so many levels.. Until the next World War or government takeover. Not that I'm saying I wouldn't print one, I totally would. But Cody really needs to think about who he is giving access to the blueprints, not just leaving them all over the internet.

I've been shot in the knuckle plenty of times, it stops hurting after the 20th time 
As for me, I prefer kevlar. It's very stab-resistant, which is good for jumping in thorn bushes (which I tend to do very often)
