Not to sound cheesy in a sense but I for one commend you for you action in benefit of your son. I think many of the parents who let their children get involved in airsoft could benefit from your example.
I won't try and speak for everyone in saying this, for the most part we're a "prove it" kind of bunch. If he's respectful, mindful and displays a decent level of character with the consent forms I for one wouldn't have any issues playing with either of you.
Unfortunately it's kind of hard to find even weekly games to attend.

Just keep your eyes on the boards. We usually get 1 or 2 really good games a month. Easy way to tell which those are, watch the replies to the topic when it's announced.

Stock internals with a tightbore. Not real HK trades, but I painted over them regardless. I bought it used off of Airsoft Retreat, haven't really seen any since then.
It's gotten some wear since that pic. I've also switched from the ACOG replica to an EoTech 552. I also bought the barrel extension from VFC and extended the inner barrel as well.

I run a VFC 416 right now and it's a fantastic gun. Great build quality both internally and externally. They're a unique M4 variant and look fantastic.
