General Airsoft Discussion / Re: AIRSOFT GI IS SCREWING ME OVER?
« on: April 14, 2011, 07:35:32 PM »
most of the time the pre-order isnt all that special. its normally just the 1st few models of the gun that they are selling, but based on this it would appear to be almost just a regular stock item. Now if they didnt give you your $ back that that would be a screw over.

AEG's / Suggestions for making a gun "lipo ready"
« on: April 13, 2011, 09:22:28 PM »
i want to make a Cyma Aks104 a cqb gun with a very fast ROF. I dont know much about the internal components of AEGs (but i know how the gearbox works and everything) so i normally have internal work done @ APD. so all i need is a list of parts that are necessary for a 11.1v lipo to be used. plz just list the essentials so that my gun would just run good not great since im kinda low on airsoft $ at the moment.

ps would any modification be needed for a 10.8v 1100mah? thx

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Re: Fightertown vs. Fort Adobe...
« on: April 13, 2011, 08:54:52 PM »
agreed with top. i think fort adobe has alot more potential if they move things on their field alittle more often. I also noticed @ Fort Adobe there is alittle less sportsmanship there than @ fightertown. People dont call their hits than the shooter complains about it than he doesnt call his hits and so on and so forth. While at fightertown, ive never had that problem. i would probably go to fort adobe more often though since i know alot of the staff and they've been good to me and also the fact it is alot closer. Fort adobe is still a great field but i think fightertown games are a little more exciting...

If fightertown had a game where they conjoined ALL of thier fields than... well... THAT WOULD BE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO ILL!!!!!

o am going to send this with Wolf Pack Tactical at games since the next time you will see me on the field will be in June. lowering the price to $70, selling to highest bid @ end of the event.

Accessories & Gear / Re: Gas Mask for airsoft use..?
« on: April 11, 2011, 09:14:35 PM »
depends on lenses. i have lenses 4 my S10 that are shatter proof that works pretty well. (came with mask). i would bring your mask outside and pop a few rounds into it and see if it works... make sure to get new lenses before u do so. (work with mine so thats y im suggesting it even though it sounds kinda dumb)

what model of mask do u have? what country?

p.s. i wouldnt suggest wearing on on the field since its wicked hard to breath and u might possibly pass out (i have once). gas mask are great for short cqb games because they are like badass full face mask.

Accessories & Gear / Re: ak47 gear
« on: April 11, 2011, 09:02:10 PM »
i would have to agree with kman94, it ultimately relies on how you play and what you like on a gun... i honestly dont like a scope on my ak just because its not really need in my opinion. does your ak have a side mount? if not i wouldnt even bother in trying to put a scope on cause it is just alot of drama trying to get a scope to work on an ak without a side mount. ofcoarse u can always put it on a RIS or railed gas block but i honestly dont like to put my scope that far forward...

Accessories & Gear / Re: Best rig?
« on: April 08, 2011, 09:59:51 PM »
I go totally light weight in field and cqb. All I carry if ammo, water, and my weapons (rifle, handgun, and knife). Everything about my loadout is based on maneuverability... my new chest rig, neoprene face mask, plastic waffle patterned mags (still very durable), and even my AK which i bought over other models because it is made from aluminum opposed to steel. I am thinking of mounting a grenade launcher even though it will way down my gun, but the benefits would outweigh the consequence (no pun intended). The only non-lightweight part of my gear is my helmet, but i use that to preform barrel rolls and such so that i have a nice round surface to roll on (it's made out of ABS so it isn't even that heavy). I would highly suggest trying a totally lightweight loadout, it makes it so that you aren't weighed down by a ton of unnecessary gear. Its also alot more budget friendly since you only have to buy a minimum amount of gear. I would suggest a light molle chest rig, hydration carrier, mag pouches, a pistol holster (if you have a handgun), and kneepads.
