I did what you want to do on my ca, just painted the foregrip and buttstock. I got some generic tan colored paint that we had in the garage and sprayed it on, ive put a new coat on a few times becuase parts of it have rubbed off, but i think it turned out fine, I didnt sand anything or put a primer down.
