Ahh.  That explains why I had some much trouble figuring that out.  Thanks for all the help! :D

I am asking (now that you mention it) what version cylinder and such I would need to purchase to upgrade it.  I have had trouble finding the part's specifications, as it seems that the gun a part fits is not always listed.

Additionally, does anyone know a good, reasonably priced bipod that fits on the body/stock, rather than on the barrel?

If I am looking for a bore-up kit, what exactly would I want to get for my M14?  A link would be helpful and appreciated.  Thanks for your time!

For some reason or another, I don't even need a carry handle because the optics I already have fit on the rail.  Thanks for the help, though.

I figured.  Probably make it a bit unwieldy too.  Thanks for the advice!

AEG's / L85 scope related question
« on: June 17, 2008, 10:43:44 AM »
Does anyone think taking an M16 carry handle and putting it on an L85, then adding a scope mount and a red dot would look fine or just be ridiculous?  I think I have the option of putting the scope where the normal carry handle mounts, but then I have to remove the front sight and am not sure if that would look good either.

The first practical style related question I've ever asked.   :D

Gas Powered Guns / Re: NBB?

Realism does seem like the biggest factor, but I imagine a NBB is quieter and has less wear over time.

Thanks for the 552 mags and free bb's man!  They work awesome in my SIG!  Free bump to a good seller!

It seems that the review section has 3 pages, with the third being identical to the first.  I'm relatively new to this forum, but that seems like something that wouldn't normally happen.

Other than that, I like the forum.  Good job!

If I was so inclined, I could replace my gun collection completely for alot cheaper and a whole lot easier and faster if I decided to do it illegally. Gun laws make it harder for law abiding people to purchase guns, but not criminals.

True.  Why would a criminal bother to follow a gun law when the intention is to do whatever is easiest and yields the most profit?

“National Rifle Association spokesman Ashley Varner said anti-toy gun legislation is ‘silly’ because ‘it doesn't deal with issues of crime.’

‘It won't eradicate the human element of the crime,’ she said. ‘It doesn't target getting criminals off the street.’â€￾

I agree with Varner on this one.  Getting rid of Airsoft guns isn’t going to stop crime.  Adding laws that punish people who use toys to commit a crime seems reasonable, but the focus should be on the crime itself.  Threatening to injure an officer should be considered a crime regardless of the “weapon.â€￾  Additionally, I am curious why a child walking around with any kind pistol had to be killed to stop him.  The story does not suggest in it that the kid was hiding behind anything or even pointing his pistol at anyone.  That generally suggests a clear shot from a trained officer.  I understand being unable to save someone with damage to vital organs, but a single injury to an arm or leg would not usually kill someone (not something I would want obviously, but clearly survivable).  However, the child is still at fault for ignoring the officer’s orders, so I support the officer in his need to protect himself and others.

I'm fairly certain that TM M4 hi-caps will work with CA M4's.  Most M4 mags are designed the same externally at least.
