Gas Powered Guns / Re: What is the longest lasting gun you have owned?
« on: October 13, 2008, 10:50:51 PM »
My KJW MKII has lasted me a good three or four years and i have put that through ever imaginable hell. My CA G33 has laste about three years with no real issue(My buddy broke the butt stock and I fried the wiring to the battery by pinching it, which was my fault and not that of the gun.)

I once got hit in the tooth because I was laughing at my friend for diving behind a tree. Then the guy he dove away from popped me rite in the mouth. Luckily my front teeth are fake(due do an accident) so it did not do any damage.

I also once laid on a cactus at a four peaks game. Was snuggling up under a tree to hold a control point and let myself down right on it. Unfortunately, at that time I did not have my rig on so I got the full love of the spines in the chest. But hey I got a kill not five mins later from the same spot. Well, slightly to the right. That is probably the worst innjury/pain Ive incurred upon the airsoft battlefield.

I have never had anybody at APD provide me with decent information or service. Gearbox is the place to go for all your airsoft needs. They know their stuff and will help you with anything they can.

It may not be a practical paint job but it is a damn good one. I bet that person would do really well if they tried camo. On top of that, its a great in-game strategy. You cant sneak up on him because he can hear you laughing a mile away.

At least it's a REAL field.

Children unite to defend those that deceive them. Good times. Kind of has a cult feel to it thoough. Even the name 'The Island' screams creepy evilness. Price tag aside, parents be worried.

Ive dealt with camotech. Not bad. Ive also had experience with an embroiderer at indoor swapmart that was fairly helpful.

AMAZING!! 350 is about rite. I think mine chronoed at 342 reliably with .2. Stock. The hop-ups are hit or miss. But thats standard CA. Otherwise, best stock dun ive ever used.

Biggest drawbacks:
Proprietary mags. U get 58 or 330. No other options.
External upgrades are fairly limited and those that are available are a pain to install.
(while i like this some may not)Its a pretty long gun.

Overall tho, I wouldn trade it for another gun. Unless it was a better equipped G33. Lol.

Biggest thing is the hop-up. I ABSOLUTELY love mine. It is amazing. Quiet as hell too.

Points to Doc for owning queenie. Points to Ganef for his civility. Aesop guy is neg 10grand in points right now for general stupidity. I agry with Laser. Dont like, dont do. No one told you to. And if you play like a speed baller, you WILL get hit in this game. Well more than vets and casual players like myself. Its a game of tactics. Somethin paintball lacks completely. Please dont come onto our peaceful forum an instigate a conflict. It is completely unnecessary, and shows that you have a lack of better things to do. Which, I pitty you for.

I have a HUGE amount of respect for LE. I myself am going into Phx PD as soon as I am old enough. Its one thing to see/hear about it. Its completely different when it happens to you. Keep your chin up with the knowledge that you did everything you could to not take a life. Even one that was likely willing to take yours. I say well done. SD and any other PD is and will be lucky to have you on.

Impact weapons are a little more unclear.

The County Attorney is successfully prosecuting people for weapons offenses based on possession of CONCEALED impact weapons such as the ASPBaton.

The AZ CCW is a WEAPON permit, not a FIREARM only permit and it allows the holder to carry ANY weapon legally possessed.

It appears that you can probably open carry an ASP but you do risk charges if its concealed, and possibly getting hasseled by LEOs.

Arizona considers impact weapons such as the ASP as DEADLY weapons.

While there is some room for legal argument, the best thing to do is avoid any charges.

Incidentally, if you display an ASPBaton (as in draw it, snap it open, and appear to have the intent to use it) on someone you just committed aggravated assault and use or threat of deadly force is presumed reasonable against someone who is committing an Agg Assault.

YOU CAN CARRY A TASER CONCEALED without any license in Arizona... as well as California, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas.. etc.   Some East Coast states restrict Tasers but whatever......

Good to know. I always make sure its plenty visible when I do carry it. Though that is not very common. Thanks for the info on that.
