Yeah i pretty much wrote him off when i read that part, that is probably the worst thing he could have done. The "gun" probably wasnt orange tipped either.  But we won't be seeing him fo a while, minimum sentence for aggravated assault is five years.

from: http://www.abc15.com/content/news/southeastvalley/tempe/story/Student-arrested-for-shooting-at-officers-Tempe/gz7ie_mmdkimUvlGLKTdQw.cspx

"TEMPE, AZ - - An automatic burglary alarm led to an odd and potentially dangerous situation for Tempe police officers.

Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers swarmed a check cashing business near Southern and Mill avenues after reports the front windows were shattered.

"Our officers responded quickly and immediately surrounded the business," said Tempe Police Sergeant Steven Carbajal.

According to Carbajal, 21-year-old Sean Sexton was seen by officers firing a rifle at the business.

Officers quickly determined Sexton was carrying and using an "air-soft rifle" to shoot out the windows of the business.

Carbajal says Sexton turned the weapon towards officers and fired several times.

"Officers did realize it was an "air-soft" rifle and fortunately a potentially deadly force situation was avoided," said Carbajal.

According to the Tempe Police Department, Sexton is a student at Arizona State University and may have had some sort of vendetta against the check cashing business.

Carbajal says Sexton was wearing all black and at times shooting across a busy street making it difficult at first for officers to determine the type of weapon involved.

"He was a risk, a threat to officers and the community and the officers reacted accordingly and effectively," said Carbajal. "The Tempe Police Department has made training related to use of force situations a priority as officers can encounter a dangerous situation at a moments notice."

Sexton now faces 3 counts of aggravated assault for firing in the direction of police officers and a criminal damage charge, all are felonies.

"A suspect with any type of weapon is an obvious threat, but our quick thinking officers are well trained to handle any dangerous situation," said Carbajal.

No injuries were reported.

It's estimated the cost of damage to the check cashing business is more than $15,000."

The source had some pretty funny pictures of this looser crying after he was caught. He's lucky the "quick thinking officers" didn't shoot him.
Dumbass.

AEG's / AEP upgrades
« on: October 08, 2009, 05:01:56 PM »
Hi all,
I have a WELL R2 Skorpion, it shoots at around 270(+-5), and i'm trying to push it closer to the magic CQB 330 mark, do AEP's take the same kind of upgrades that a full sized AEG takes? e.g., a new spring? Or do i have I have to find a special spring length that only AEP's take.
Thanks

Does anyone play down here? I haven't seen any big games in rsvp forum, but does anyone just "scrimmage"? There is so much open land (BLM I think) that it seems like the perfect kind of place to play.

Do all GBB's have the goofy handle safety my 3.8 baby capa has? If it isn't squeezed at tight as possible, the leaf spring gets messed up when the slide goes back, and the hammer doesn't stay down. Its easy to temporarily fix, but so damn irritating. And i haven't found a permenent fix online yet. Anyone else have this kind of problem?
