I'm singing at ASU Battle of the Bands on Thurs Oct 2!

This Thursday ASU's having a Battle of the Bands at Tempe Marketplace, and the band I sing in, Regular Heroes, was chosen to be one of the 4 competing bands!  The winner walks with a $1000 prize!  Thing is, the winning band will be determined by crowd applause at the end of the show... that means we need as many people as we can possibly get to come out and support us!!

I wish I could give you an absolute time, but unfortunately, they're picking the performance order completely at random just before the show starts, so we could be getting on stage any time between 7:00 and 9:30 pm.  For those of you who have never heard us live before... you have no idea what you're missing out on!  Regular Heroes is a band with a lot of very talented musicians from all sorts of different musical backgrounds, and the sound that results from it is phenomenal.  I've heard the other bands that are competing, and they're all very talented, so if nothing else, this is a great FREE show to come to!!  Come support your local airsoft technician!!   :D

Date: Thursday, Oct 2
Time: 7-10pm
Location: Tempe Marketplace, district stage (next to Dave & Buster's)
Admission: FREE
Band you're cheering for: Regular Heroes!

We play alternative rock, ranging from very light to hard.
I know some people on these forums have heard us before, and have given us really positive feedback.  Seriously, I would love to have some more of our airsofters out to support us!  Come listen to us perform tonight; I promise you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I went and had a blast. Jared, you guys put on a great performance, even if the sound techs had no idea what they were doing for the first couple of songs. lol The energy was high, the songs were tight, and you guys were truly the best of show.

Update: We stayed until the end and Regular Heroes lost due to some biased judging. All-in-all it was a great time and you guys have what it takes to make it. Can't wait for the next show!

Thank you for that, Ron.  I felt good about the performance.  I liked that we were able to keep our energy high even during crap like when the lead vocals cut out during THREE songs!  It was RIGHT in the middle of some of the most exciting parts, too!   ](*,)   Sure we didn't win according to the judges, but I bet you anything if you were to ask the CROWD, we would have dominated!  We had the crowd going about 5 times louder than any other band did, which was a lot of fun!  I thought it was a total success, even if we didn't win the $1000, and needless to say, the band that won sounded great as well, even if they didn't have a lot of energy on stage.  Was anybody else able to make it out?  Give me your feedback!
