help me figure out what i bought

I bought one M91/30 Mosin Nagant, it has the date 1927r stamped on the "hex" style receiver, it also says Izhevsky Factory of Arms in Russian on the receiver, right below a hammer and sickle. the serial number on the receiver, magazine and bolt (straight handle) all match. "95308"

I looked up the Izhevsky Arms Factory, and it is, in fact, in Russia,  but is this REALLY a russian rifle? or was it given to some hungarian, polish, romanian military? how can I tell?

Its Russian, and has the more rare hex style receiver. Does it have solid wood or is it laminate? The laminate is less common or rare. Izevsky and Tula where the two factories in Russian that produced these firarms. To this day the Izevshy factory still produces Firarms you have heard of the SAiGA's that is where they are made.  Russia stoped the Hex style to the rounded not long after being invaded by germany in order to speed production. What makes you think that it was held or captured by someone eles? It most likly has the origianal serial numbers crossed out and replaced with some that are electro pencil marked indicating that it was rearsenaled, and then stamped with importation marks when it came to this country. If all the original serial numbers match this is also a big plus making it worth more in the future. You have yourself one of the more rare and difficult to find Nagant with the Hex style and even more rare if it has Laminate wood. Not much eles I can say is shoot the thing the 7.62x54r is avery accurate round. I sugest you use Brown Bear ammo if you dont want to clean it after everytime you shoot it. Surplus ammo uses Corrosive primers, and requires cleaning with an ammonia based solvant after use. Windex is your cleapest route, one or two swipes through the barrel is fine. Then use your regualar cleaner and run a pach of oil through it with something like Breakfree to protect your barrel.

i dont think is was captured, i thought maybe it was made and given to someone else. As I understood, Izhevsky made Mosins for several countries.

The original serial number was not stamped out, but there is a new number on the side of the receiver, i'll take pictures later.

how can i tell if its solid or laminate?

This may be the original serial number crossed out on the stock, or maybe (hopefully) they replaced the butt-plate and stamped on the serial number.
