Get the 1911a1 if you can, otherwise the MKIV series 70. You could get the Shubuya (SP?) custom works one in silver with eagle grips on it.

In my opinion, I'd be a TERRIBLE collector. I like to shoot anything I buy. [:D] So, for my vote, I'm gonna say my favorite is the SVI 5" Standard (although I wish it wouldn't come with a full-length spring guide). 30+1 on tap, and accurate as a mother. I miss the one I used to have to this day (but it's in Paco's capable care). Someday I'll buy another one. They're just too accurate and too much fun to not have one.

A lot of it is preference. The models are very similar, with mostly cosmetic or small functional differences (ambi safety, different beavertail, etc.)

It's also pointless to compare the double/single stackers. They're just different.

For single stack, probably the FBI Trial, or the new Wilson CQB. Top of the line with all the goodies.

For double stack, probably the 5 Inch Limited. (which you really can't find anymore) The customization potential was almost endless.

As far as I can tell, any of the current WA guns are probably just as good as any of the others. Get what you think is cool.

Functionally, all WA single stacks are identical, and all the double stacks are identical. Raith is right.

The 1911 I want has to fix into a duty holster or thigh holster, I have a RS Kimber Classic and a Colt Commander semi modified. So I want something along the same lines, but fancier.
My thing scenario play, and you can't go blasting up the house with RS stuff.

I've looked at the SVI 4.3-5.0 IDE, Para P14 HRT, WA Striker, PA P14 2/tone and Para Combat plus. Of these besides not being able to use green gas which the most durable. I think the more gagets on the thing the more to break and fall off.

Raith that Wilson Custom 1911 was cool as Sh%t, I might have to add that to my weapons to look at that is what I'm looking for. With the exception I need to answer the question, do I want a built in RIS?

If you're talking about a rail on a handgun, it all depends if you want to put a light on it or not. You probably don't need a light on an airsoft gun, but it can be kinda cool.

BES thats was a kick ass Para Ord 1911, wide body. I could get into that, its slick but costing about the same as a RS Commondore 45 ACP $289.00, they want $269 for the WA air soft gun. Thats the upper end of what I want to pay for my personal nicest 1911 airsoft gun that money can buy.

Kick ass 1911

IYO what is the best WA 1911 made?
« Reply #12 on: April 27, 2004, 02:06:03 PM »
In your oppinon was is the best single or double stacked Western Arm 1911 made?

Now I'm looking for something to look at as well as shoot. I have two accurate KWC 1911 single stacks that are rouget and tough, that has shot nothing but green gas.

Now I want something thats a fine peice of machinery mostly to look at.
