Well it's either a Skinny profile barrel or a Heavy profile barrel.  I assume you're getting this gas block?  http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/bmas/yhm-9370.asp

Wrap a piece of string around the barrel and mark it where it over laps.  Then measure the length and divide it by 3.14 and that should give you the diameter of your barrel.

If you've got a "pie" button on your calculator, it'll be more accurate than Harley's method. [}:)][:P] (Just giving you a hard time, Harley!)

Actually though you're right Basher, I totally forgot that he could use the calculator that comes with MS Windows.  Just switch to Scientific mode, punch in the measurement and divide by the "pi" button in the bottom center of the calculator.

Im going to get a gas block for my bushmaster, and I dont have a micrometer (sp?), anyone know how I can tell which diameter my barrel is?
