Goggle Reflection

Is there a practical way to reduce the amount of
reflection on your goggles? Normally it wouldn't be much
of an issue during a day game, but a friend and I were
making sure the NV scope still worked, and his glasses light up
like cat eyes in the dark.  So, is there a mesh or something
that wouldn't be too hindering for glasses/goggles?

Personally, I like goggles.  But I've worn mesh that I borrowed from friends and they worked fine.  The mesh was coated in black paint or some other type of coating that didn't look very reflective at all.  I bet that'd stop your problem.  I just don't know how well NVGs would work with a mesh mask.

Not too worried about using the NV with the mesh, but I forgot those existed...  Not my favorite, but it's an option I suppose.

What kind of goggle system are you using?  Need details inorder to help.

Also something to remeber with Mesh systems is that they dont stop bb fragments from going through, so you still need to wear some kind of safety eye wear underneath the wire mesh.  If you get shot in the mesh, you have a good chance of bb's fragmenting.

When you were using the NV googles, did you turn on the IR as well.  I find that when I turn on mine, I get a lot more reflections coming back.

You...could try removing the lens or taping it off and spraying it with a dullcoat.

Some sheer nylons (panti-hose) stretched over the lense area and secured with a rubber band may diffuse most of the reflection while not impairing your vision noticeably.
