That's just good customer service. Too bad it is out of style (seemingly)! It seems like our society has gotten so "money" driven, that we've come to expect a charge for EVERYTHING! Then it is a complete surprise when we're thrown a bone like that. I liken it to finding a $5 bill in a pants pocket that I'd forgotten was there. It's not much, but I get a real kick out of my "found" money. It's just nice to see that there are companies that take care of their customers.

Why can't I get my picture to show up when I post a reply? That bugs me!

It might be the size of the pic Pancho.  It needs to be no larger than 64x64 pixels.

It's one of the game pics... that's why it's not working.  It's way too big for an avatar pic.

Pancho - Its because how you have it setup right now isn't linking to the picture, its linking to the whole page with the picture on it.

You probably want this:

Instead of this:

Nick - the size shouldn't matter, it'll get compressed down appropriately, I believe.

John - Thats cool... When one of my Camelbak bladders was leaking, I emaileare more pouch configurations available and for our needs, they are functional. I am related to an SF operator and he uses his own BHI gear on every mission. Just our opinion on BHI - not victims of flashy ads and cool stuff, just functional, durable gear. To us that's realistic.

Aimpoint... all I have to say is WOW!
« Reply #6 on: June 26, 2003, 08:59:54 AM »
I just recently bought a used Aimpoint CompM off eBay.  It came with the older style caps without the retaining straps.  I called Aimpoint's service dept to see if I could order a new set with the straps.  The gentleman who handles that dept was out but they took my number.  He called me back in a half hour, I told him what I was looking for and he said he'd put it in the mail for me, NO CHARGE!  Now that's service.
