Anyone still play Battlefield 2?
« on: December 17, 2007, 11:36:41 PM »
I know the game is damn near 2 years old now, but I still prefer it to 2142.

With the expansion and booster packs this game seems to have developed a very long life.

I play it once every full moon or so. lol

But I'm done with PC games. I prefer Xbox 360 games because of the fact that I can play with my friends sitting next to me, or with friends online. Most of my friends are poor and don't offord a good computer to play it on.'

Yeah that's always a problem. I'm usually the "bleeding" edge guy with my PC so I'm usually like two or three generations more advanced than my friends. The only problem I feel that consoles need to overcome is the memory limitations. I'm tired of seeing really small maps on the console version compared to the vast maps on the PC version.

And player counts.  Games like TF2 where you usually have half the player count (or less).  That's why I will never be a console guy.

But yes, I and several friends still play BF2 frequently.  I took down my server though, because nobody ever got on and I had better things to do with it.
