I can try to answer it, take in mind I dont know half as much as Nil8r does but Ill give it a shot, its rather simple. Those three companies are on the lower end of the scale, and thier quality control isnt as good as some of the other brands, so malfunctions are more likely, also thier performance isnt as good compared to other companies that cost a bit more, but have greater quality control and performance and will end up lasting you longer.

That sounds about right, they're also more likely to take shortcuts to meet the lower price, so for example might cheap out on the piston or gears and say they're good for 400fps without mentioning it'll probably break rather quickly if you are partial to using your airsoft gun like a BB hose.

Another question, Would an G&G M4 and M16 differ in range, effective range, and accuracy?

Little bit on accuracy and range. The barrel length and diameter will have some play in that.
