Need Gear!

Hey I have about $40 max to spend on gear for an upcoming event...  Can anyone tell me where I can get basic gear cheap (pads, vest, slings, holsters, etc.)?

$40 will buy you a set of used BDU's, they have pockets, which you can use to store stuff.

if you want to go cheap (50$) but good qual.. buy some 5.11 pants with the mag pouches,

 i have them and they work great - that'll get you by on where to put your mags for the time being. then make sure you have some good boots. a lot of people these days skimp on buying good boots.. but they are imo one of the most important things and a staple item in any "kit". gortex linings are a plus too

the idea here is not spending money on something that will serve a purpose for only a short amount of time ei: a 40 dollar vest with fixed pouches..if i were you i'd rather go buy good bdu's or 5.11s that will last you a LONG time and serve as a beginner platform- then work your way to a molle platform for your first vest.. infinity tactical (fixed pouch) vests are probably one of the most disposable items in airsoft other than bb's

just throwin that out there and @ the very least if you decide not to play anymore, all you have spent money on is cheap bdu's or good "cargo" pants left over.

Ill second this, last time I was there Ron had a kit together that came with a chest rig 4[?] mag pouches some grenade pouches and a few other things I cant remember off the top of my head, great deal for 40 bucks though.
