AK-47 Gearbox replacment

Hey,
I recently acquired a worn out AK-47 and I would like to replace the gearbox. What gearbox should I put into the gun. I would like to boost the FPS to roughly 450+ as of now its 370.

What brand is it?

Is the whole gearbox dead?  

SRC Gen 3 gearboxes would probably be a good drop in.  If you want to run 450 fps, you might install some solid 8mm bushings though.

Why do you want the velocity so high? 370 is just about perfect for most gaming conditions.

Ghostrecon-The Gearbox is not dead but its on its way. The brand is the cheap big five Aftermath. I have some modifications. when I am done with this gun it will no have any brand name! haha-Thanks

-where I play it is a dense, dry and rough area. This gun is more of a DMR, the higher FPS will provide a more affective weapon.

i wouldn't even bother putting any more money into an aftermath.. i would suggest a new rifle all-together

but that's just me  8)

It was dirt cheap...its a project gun :) I'm just having fun with it, its not my main gun.
