Wanting to do a Project
« on: March 16, 2011, 12:56:58 PM »
I have seen many people on the forum have made or modified a gun into their own. I am wanting to do so. I want to make a m16 with an extended barrel with 4 rails and a crane style stock, also it has to be electric, and mostly metal. I want it to be able to shoot around 350 fps. How would I go around doing so, what are all the parts needed to do so, where would I get the parts, do you have any of the parts, how much would this project cost? Also, would it be better to just buy a new gun? I want it to stay under $200 including shipping. Any info will help, also I would love to know info, pics, and the cost of your projects!

Done.

Will need a new spring to get it up to 350... but you can easily get that from GI and still be under the $200 budget... when using the coupon code "Tim", will save you 10%

It's not metal for the receiver... but you might have a hard time getting metal, quality, AND the look you're going for for under $200.
The poly receivers from g&g (that are used for this gun) are some of the best in the business.

IF it helps, the GI guns are usually very worth the money, and I have seen a few go at that price before.

\"Friendly fire isn\'t\"
If a speeding pellet in a quiet woods hits a noob in the face, and he cries, does anyone care?

My g4 pws advertises 330fps but clocks in at 350-360fps so I wouldn't be suprised if the a3s shot faster. Also I love my g4 and so do my friends who have the flaming hog and g4-18 models.
