Leave just a little in, enough for a couple shots so your seals don't dry out but don't leave them fully charged.

I've never stored a mag gassed up because I wouldn't want a failing o ring or valve to cause the gas to expel into my house or anywhere that I store my gun. As an engineer, gas leaks / vapor intrusions do occur to me so I don't even store my green gas / propane canisters in the house.

This.

Don't leave them in your car either.

I always leave my gas mags fully charged while stored in doors. I find it keeps the seals lubed and in place, preventing the seal from being allowed to dry out and deform. Charge, store and forget them.

However I do fully agree not to leave any pressurized gas vessel inside your car where it can literally "cook off".  High temperature and gas don't mix well.

Not necessarily. Make sure they are in a cool area of your house, away from any thing that might cause a spark, Static Electricity, Tv's, High Voltage Electrical equipment, I had a buddy afew months ago have a green gas can explode after it fell from atop his shelf onto a corner of a table, Probably just a freak occurrence, After that I stored my Green Gas with the Push/Insert cap off, in my closet on the lowest shelf hidden away.

If your green gas can's are leaking at all, dispose of them ASAP, its not good for your health and poses a large risk. That leak may open more and cause a quick expulsion of all the gas inside into the environment its housed in, the gas is heavily pressurized.

Remember these things are... essentially hand grenades.

Anyone remember how to dispose of these things? I have some empty ones I don't know how to get rid of.

arent you the worry wart? lol throw them in the recycle can if they're empty.

Agreed, I've forgotten to leave even a nominal amount of gas in my magazines, stored them, and when I needed them, the seals were screwed up. Besides if you are playing regularly, storage probably won't be a long term concern.
