Please Help ASAP!!!

My brother in law is driving to rocky point tomorrow and asked me if he can take his AEG there without any legal issues. Does anyone have info on legalities with AEGs and boarder crossings or anything similar to this topic?

NO NO NO NO NO!!!  Mexico has extremely tight gun laws and if he is caught with it he WILL be put in prison no questions asked.  Real or replica do not take a gun across the border.

And even if they were, what would be the point?  I can't think of a single good reason for wanting to take an airsoft gun to Mexico.
