Looks sexy. But its sold out. What does the 14 represent? 14 rounds? I dont think its a 14 inch barrel. What about that OD Para-Ord one?

The P14 is Para Ordances desigation for this model since the real one holds 14 rounds of .45 ammo. Then there's the Para P13, P12 so on and so forth.

I'm debating between the 14.45 H.R.T SCW or Matt's CQB SCW. We'll see what happens. [:D]

Nate, get the newer model KJW 1911. Mikey has one, and it's apprently a good knockoff of the WA pistol you posted. All parts are compatible. It's about 80 bucks.

I just picked up one of the KJW 1911s a few hours ago from Airsoft Atlanta. It is a really sweet gun. Huge mag capacity, great accuracy, VERY fast cycle speed (I was getting tired of the dog slow cyclic rate on my KJW full metal M9). Id highly reccomend it!

Did you have a newer recoil spring in there, Rick? My metal M9 cycles just as fast as the ABS M9.

I havent tried putting a new recoil spring in, I will try it. I think I might have some tactical master parts around I could throw in there. But also with the metal slide comes increased gas consumption, the KJW 1911 has continued to impress me the more I fire it. I havent stripped it down yet, but the gun seems really solid. I wouldnt be suprised if its an exact WA design inside. The gun actually outshot the KJW Mk1 Carbine that I picked up today, which really impressed me. It even outranged my SR16 (stock internals and short barrel tho). Id put it up there with the KJW/TM berettas as the best skirmish GBBs out there.

As far as I know most WA parts are compatible with the KJW 1911. Magazines are not interchangeable; and so far no retailer has offered spare mags for sale for the KJW 1911.

I love mine. At OP:LC3 I somehow ended up defending one of our flanks in a large rock formation by myself for several minutes. Well, as fate would have it my AEG battery died at the worst possible moment. With zero time to change batteries I reached for the KJW 1911. I scored 5 center-mass/head shots on 5 seperate targets. That bought me enough time to change batteries and allowed other Bravo company players to get in to defensive positions to assist. Unfortunately no one was around to witness my quick-draw McGraw like greatness...

Here is a good image comparison --> http://www.pbase.com/timco/kjw_1911_para

In my book the KJW 1911 is one combat tested/skirmish worthy piece of kit.

So in other words... Sure you did, Mikey... [:P]

I still haven't had a chance to check that thing out real close.
