sight rail for a Sr 16?

hi I have bought an ICS sr 16 and Want to know if there is anything that will rise a sightrail to mount my aimpoit to? also if anybody has ICS mags for sale?

Don't get ICS mags....Get TM standards. And, you can buy a riser mount for about $25.. But as long as you don't buy an AP replica with a super low mount you shouldn't have any problems.

I already bought the gun and where can you find thoes mounts, will tms fit?

Yes Marui standards will fit...Probably best, or G&P midcaps. www.airsoftextreme.com, but you don't NEED a riser mount, it will just look stupid. Why do you want one?

Because when i mounted my aimpoint it looks right into front sight lol

Are you another one of the people who closes one eye when they use a red dot? Geesh..Well It shouldnt matter if the front sight post is there because the dot will be seen on both eyes and coincide. I only see thru the upper half of the glass on my AP cause my AN/PEQ covers the bottom half or so.

I have the same problem.. I have the exact same setup as you. Aimpoint rep. and ICS SR16. Your options are..

toss the reddot and get a new one
get a flipup front sight
riser mount

first option, toss the red dot. that's what I'm doing.

Did you get your ICS sr16 from JT, SAD or online?

just curious.
