Well, I may go ahead and pick up the eagle rhodesian, and have stonewolf make me a back for it like this:

http://www.optactical.com/stcoreplcaba.html

And that should do the job, or maybe I will Commision some custom work, or throw my Issak in the washer and see how it scomes out, LOL.

Being picky is a hard life.

Thanx Lightning_Man I just bought one and drop another 120 bux on top of that with them!
but they do have good prices, I decided to redo my rig, Damn 500 bux and climbing just in one setup,    Now for some plates

Try reading the post by the author, Garbage boy. Mark was asking what FEATURES you want in a piece of gear, not about what is on your "dream LBE" which to most, is an oxymoron.

I gotta say, Bustas winning the fight. I own an LBE and a mod (Busta, you saw it saturday, did you like it? I love it :)) and the only way to go with good gear is modular.. LBE is just.. if you can't afford modular.

Lets not get into a debate, stick to topic though.. I still stick with my last post.

Dudes...it's a farking game.

I suppose if you are a re-enactor or being judged in the  "Miss Most-Authentic-Military-Costume" contest, it might matter.

hey im sorry for every one whos had trouble with thier lbe. ive used it for 2 years and its served me perfectly.

as for features in a piece of gear, it should be velcroless (on any thing vest, pouches, packs, etc.) buttons and elastic are quiet. pulling a grenade from a velcro pouch in a infiltration situation surrounded by enemy is like asking to be shot.

Glad to hear that Surplus man.  I have had my current modular set-up now for about a year now and it has served me perfectly.  So far its exactly what I want from my gear.

I have spent alot of time and money searching for the right rig.

After testing out my Eagle MLCS Rhodesian Chest Rig last weekend, I think I've found it!  It could be lighter (and have cost less, but it's ONLY MONEY), and have a few features that aren't a part of it - but it works great and carries all of my sh*t!  The BattleLab pouches are great also.

If LC2 gear works for you, SurplusBoy, that's great!  You are very lucky to be satisfied by that inexpensive gear.  I wish a 60 buck LBE setup would satisfy my gear needs (it would sure satisfy my wallet!).:(
