If we have to drop daisy cutters on a city, let's make it LA.  And quickly.  Before anymore of them move out to the river!

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

This retired General believes that we should commit indiscriminate mass murder in a town (Fallujah) whose inhabitants never once did anything to the USA before we invaded their country.  How is he any different than Osama Bin Laden?  To top it off, he believes we should feed an American he doesn’t like to Africans?  Clearly, this individual is a bigot with little appreciation for the principles under which this nation was founded.  A General Smedley Butler, he ain’t.

Retired Marine Corps General Anthony Zinni, now there’s a man who has his crap together!!!

WOW how did I know that you would somehow be offended.... we should change your nickname from the "Christian Taliban" to the "Moral Majority of One"

Well, I'm not Christian and I'm certainly more tolerant of others then either these extremist Christians or extremist Muslims.  I guess in being so you could certainly describe me as being moral but I sure as hell hope that around here anyway I ain't a majority of one!

You don't consider those who would support the indiscriminate mass murder of a town's residents or the treatment of Americans in a manner inconsistent with our (hold on, let me get out my card) "Bill of Rights, Constitution, or the Principles under which our Nation was founded" somewhat offensive?

Come on, now.  And you consider yourself to be a conservative?

Lead, who are you? I've never met you in person, I don't even think you come to games. I've never seen you post anything good or contributing to threads here. You constantly slam other people and what they stand for: ie 'Christian Extremists'. As a Christian, how am I suppossed to take that?! If anything, I should be calling you a bigot. But, despite the fact that I'm mad, do you see me making personal comments?!

I could name a ton of posts where you post something rediculus and then someone shoots you down, but you come back with just some stupid put down or personal comment.

Why do even bother posting if you know you're just going to piss people off? Do you like it?

I know this is a little late but, I think it had to be said.

How ironic.  You repeat a series of posts in which I'm addressing the issue at hand as well as responding to what amounted to a personal attack (although I didn't take it personally.  Wink, wink, Andy) as you proceed to attack me personally for personal attacks.

I guess you could take any comments about Extremist Christians in the same light as you would expect a Muslim to take comments about Extremist Muslims.  You don't expect Muslims to support the Islamic terrorists do you?  Or are you telling us you support the bombing and/or murdering of civilian populations as long as the perpetuators are Christian?

Honestly?  I don't think you know what you think.  You CERTAINLY don't understand what I wrote.  Unless of course you are an extremist Christian who supports terrorist activities in the name of his religion.

As far as meeting me, maybe when yer all growed up.  =D>

By the way, show me where someone "shot me down", genius.

I could reply to this in jest. But I will refrain because I'm "growed up"...heh.

Back on topic. I think I would stand up and aplaud this general for what he said. Not all of it was perfect, but no one is perfect. I also support Bush's actions in keeping them over there, although I have to admit sometimes I wonder whether or not they're needed. But in the end I really think they are...for now.

Just my 2cts.

Indiscriminate mass murder?  Why does that seem to ring a bell? Oh i Know, September 11 2001.  That was definately indiscriminate mass murder, as is all of the suicide bombings that terrorists have and are continuing to enact against Americans troops and their own people.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't their propensity for indiscriminate murder to achieve political goals the reason we call them terrorists?  Are you justifying terrorism as long as we're the one's committing it?

By the way, did you forget?  Osama bin Laden and the Taliban in Afghanistan were the ones responsible for 9/11.

That right there, made my day.  Thanks lead.
