G&G Armament AK mags!!!
« on: September 06, 2005, 07:17:53 PM »
Here is to all of you AK fans out there!!!! Tired of those Marui standard mags that hold a low amount of bb's, and is less to be desired? Hate those Marui High caps that only wind when they want too, and sometimes fall apart? Not happy with the way those midcaps fit, and spring goes bad after to many load outs with full amount? Dont want to use those 30 star mags???

WELL HAVE I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!

G&G High Caps!!! Hold The 600 rounds, and keep feeding like a dream!!!! They hold together realy tight, around the bottom. So that plate wont fall off.
They Come in Brown and Black.
They are made to look like the 74SU but can be used for any AK metal body or not.
Only down side is that they made with more plastic. However, they are less than half the weight.
They feed quickly and with half the effort!!!

Can be purchased at AEX for $30!!! Thats cheaper than the CA & Marui High cap!!!

I am trying to get a nice 600rd AK-74 plum mag.
Don't like the B-Spets 250rd..

Here is the site. These mags work alot better than the marui's. But, they are still not perfect but they are the best ones out there as of now. I want to see how well the CA 500 round mags will be like when they come out. One of the problems with marui high caps is that the spring is not strong enough to push the 600 .25+ BB's. I dont know if they have the plum color.

Ya, those look real nice.  However I have been told by many that the low-caps that you don't have to wind feed a lot better than the hi-caps.

I can't decide if I should get 2 STAR 160rd Mid-Caps(no winding), or 1 STAR 600rd Hi-Cap.

Any suggestions?

Also, I am having trouble finding those Mid-Caps at a decent price, so far I have seen them at 25$ a pop.. do they get any cheaper?

Well I dont know about star mid caps. I dont think they work well from what I have heard. I have 5 G&P AK 150 Round high-caps, and they worked great for alittle while. Problem is that if you load them up all the way, all the time they wair out realy fast. Now they dont work good for me any more. If you get those get a speed loader and measure only putting about 100-120 rounds to take it easy. They will not fit if you have a metal DTP metal body. But Prime will work.  I have not had problems with the M4's ecept for one jamb incident.

To tell you the best would be the half 250 round AK high caps for the B-spetz. G&G high caps are ok.  Cheating electric mag lol.  I have never used the star high caps so I could not tell you, ask Dust to Dust.  For some the 30 round star mags work, but it will depend on your hop up and body. G&P mid caps are great if you dont over load them all the time and have a TM stock, prime or G&P metal body. Take care or your mid cap and they will take good care of you, and you will love them.

Like I said earlyer the mauri high caps will work if best if you use .20s heavyer and you mag have a lag in you feeding. The problem with high caps is that the mag is much longer than the average mag, and needs to push 600 rounds. So does not have the strength.

Ya I see what your saying, I think for now I will grab the 600rd Star Hi-Cap and see how it works, but if things don't go to well I will grab the 250rd hi-caps made for the Spets.  Thanks.
