Operation Bulldog, Ft. Hood, TX
« on: August 22, 2006, 09:29:07 PM »
Troops,

Operation Bulldog, a DOUBLE MOUT combat event, will take place over
the weekend of Oct. 20~22, 2006 at Ft. Hood, TX, the largest Army
base in North America!

This first of its kind OP, double MOUT, will be led by the Advanced
and High Risk SERE qualified USAF PJ Sgt.Tim Ryan vs. our beloved
Vietnam LRRP legend, the men with 80 missions, the crazy "War Lord"
from LC series, Sgt. Kenn Miller. Two men with very unconventional
warfare backgrounds.

Keep an eye on the forum, some intel should be up by next Wednesday
or so.

AEX, one of the Title Sponsors, has 30 discount coupons applicable to
OPBD admission ($30 value per coupon) for both General and Alumni
attendees.

Spartan Imports, a Support Sponsor, holds 10 discount coupons.

Other sponsors with coupons will be announced in the forum next week.

250 troops are all we'll take; and it's FIRST COME, FIRST
SERVED....so those who missed out on IRENE will get a fair chance.
You'll camp, eat, fight, sleep next to the real USMC unit on
America's busiest LIVE FIRE training base!!

the MOUT ranges there are not a cool as Zussman, but way more buildings and spread all over the place.  2 european style towns about a mile apart....   its going to be good stuff.

Panzer and I are probably in. It all depends on what my days off situation is. I have to have enough days off to go poaching for Thanksgiving.

Same here! Already cutting into the savings. But then again being on vacation for 3 weeks doesn't help.

Way to soon after Irene for me.

Just a heads up... John did not plan it so close to Irene.  Ft Hood told him he can have only those dates and John talked to a lot of people trying to decide to hold the op or not.
