For the gun i recomend you get a box or MAG mags, i know it sound funny but that is what they are called.

let me jump ahead and tell you the sum of what everyone will tell you...

theres cheap gear.. which will work well for what you need it for. which is to hold all your stuff.

you'll need to carry (in a serious game) magazines, extra BB's, Radio, pistol and mags (if you use one). WATER. (GET A CAMLEBACK THERE IS NO COMPROMISE ON HYDRATION) my team requires things like a whistle, a multi tool, med kit.

an "infinity" vest and pistol holster from Jungle Toy work just fine for everything. (i use one now, but will soon make a chest rig) 60 bux will get you a vest, sling, and drop-led holster. the vest has a pouch in the back for a water bladder. i have a pouch for the radio on my back, and a pistol mag pouch on my belt.

then you could go with things like blackhawk and condor which are more money, but customizeable, and "cooler". then theres things on the very high end, but ill let other people tell you about them.

He did'nt ask about recommendations for his gun.

Anyways, since you are younger Im assuming you are on a limited budget.  Get a set of BDU's and a vest and you are well on your way.  Stop by your local Jungle Toy, great bunch of guys that can also point you in the right direction.

Also if you have access to Ebay you can buy cheap military belts with cheap harnesses and get some you guessed it cheap M16 mag pouches in (M)ALICE and use them on the Belt.  This is quick and effective.  Plus your drop leg holster will attach to it as well.  If you dont have access to ebay try several of the local surplus shops.  For hyrdation you can also pick up some of the 1 qt or 2qt (M)ALICE canteens.  I have 2 1 qts and 1 2 qt canteen and they are nice!  Camelbacks are nice if you take care of them.  Canteens are just dirt cheap and work effectively too!

If you want a specific look then your gonna end up spending alot on gear.  I think I've spent almost 700 of the 2000 dollars of my airsoft expenses on Gear Alone...  I am no where even close to the
official BHD look that I would like but it doesnt matter to me its cose enough
