I thought registration had already expired.  Isn't this another California event?  I remember getting an email from the guy but unless I am mistaken it was California...

When I checked Thursday they said they had 10 spots left, but when I checked Friday...  This one filled up fast.  Oh well, I'll put my name on the list to see if any spots open up later.

Its on May 23rd-25th.  Cost is $120.  And yes it is in California but it is not another Combat Enterprise event.  I don't blame the SoCal airsofters for what happened at Crimson Dunes, I blame the organizers.

I blame the Canadians...but that is unrelated...
The organizers were to blame, yes, but the further away from that mentality we can get, the better!!!

Crimson Dunes was poorly organized.  And cheating was rampant at times.  For some of us that went it was a pretty big chunk of change to loose to be disappointed like that.  The way all this was handled did not leave a good taste to some of us.  I just hope that they (the CE organizers) have at least learned from this event.  Maybe someday we can get another big group of us out to one of their events.

But back on subject...  I got an email back from one of the organizers of Lions Claw 2.  He said that I was not the only one from AZ coming out to this Op!?  Who are these other AZ players?  Speak up!

There are some openings for this event - http://www.rlgaming.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=315

I know this may be too late for some to make plans but does anyone wanna go with me?  I'll be lonely by myself...
Here is the link to the event info again > http://www.operationlionclaws.com/

Mikey, what team are you joining up with?  Alpha or Bravo?  Sounds very cool.  I am thinking hard about it.  There are only a few spots on Alpha and ten on Bravo.
I wish CD had been this organized

It does look to be an excellent event.  Can't afford any big games right now unfortunately.  [:(]

Mikey, looks like I'm your huckleberry.  I got the last spot on your squad.  They guy, John, said that there is another spot on that same team (not the same squad), and then several spots on the opposing side.  I still don't know what squad I'm on, or therefore what BDU pattern I'm wearing, but I'm in.
Should be a hoot!

(See what saving up those special favors does for you, Mr. Eradicator, sir???!!)

Nope.  No pants on me.
Ed, the guy told me that there was a slot left on the Bravo side, and a couple on the Alpha side.  Col. McKnight is running Alpha.  He said that Mike was assigned to Bravo, and that I was the last slot on that squad, but that there was another spot available.  It might be gone by now, but email him about it and try for it.  It'd be great to have more of us going.
